You'll be sleeping on a comfortable King size tempurpedic bed in a 14x17 private, sunny room with large bay windows facing the streets of the enchanting and safe neighborhood of Dolores Park. There is a shared bath (shower and bath) and kitchen. Right across from Cafe Tartine, a delicious french bakery! Only a block from Mission Dolores, as well as, Bi-Rite Creamery, Delfina Pizza, and all the great bars and restaurants of the Valencia/16th area, and a few more to the Castro. A perfect home base for your trip to San Francisco, in the sunniest part of our often-foggy city. The room is lovingly decorated & really is a home-away-from home, not the usual corporate sameness. Josh, Virgine and Max
We like to give our guests as much privacy as they like. We like to travel ourselves quit a bit, so we understand the perfect balance. Depending on our schedules, we will be in and out the places. We respond pretty quickly via text or airbnb messages in case if there is anything you need.
There is awesome public transit in our "hood."
Josh and Virgine were considerate, accommodating, and friendly. The room was cozy and private. They generously shared the common space with us as if we were close friends. Great location for the best bakery (Tartine!) and food/nightlife. Loved it!
This was a fantastic stay! After two 10-hour flights from South Africa to SF, it was the perfect place to relax. The bedroom is beautiful, and the bed is SO comfy. There's also a great seating area in the room for watching TV.
Additionally, I was really touched by Virgine's kindness. Virgine helped me with my two large suitcases, which were 50 lbs each, down two flights of stairs! Incredible!
Thanks so much!
Good Welcome and great flat in an amazing district. I just regret one thing, not Beeing allowed to stay longer. Will come back for sure.
A lovely room, comfortable bed and clear instructions on how to find the place & get in. Excellent and friendly hosts too with lots of useful advice. I'd stay again!
Josh and Virgine made me feel welcome from the beginning with accommodating my late arrival to providing a list of neighborhood recommendations to a cozy bed and very spacious room - I truly felt at home here! And for anyone who doesn't know Tartine Bakery, it's right across the street and makes the best croissant you'll find in the States. Thanks for everything!
I made a last-minute booking with Virgine and Josh for one night. Everything went so smoothly! Communication was easy. The room has everything you need, including a super comfortable bed. Finally, their place is in a great part of town. Thanks again!
The room was clean and comfortable with a great bed. Josh was super friendly and welcoming. We did not have a chance to meet Virgine as our stay was super short. The location was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed a morning stroll in Delores Park.
My cousin and I had a terrific time staying in Virgine and Josh's apartment. The rooms were spacious, with good natural light and a big television with free netflix.
The location was perfect for us, right in the mission. We had no trouble finding good places to eat every day within a 2 block rachis around the apt.
And V and J were very helpful, responding to out inquiries quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Josh and Virgine were great hosts. The room is nice and the bed is really comfortable. Location couldn't be better! Would certainly stay again when I'm in San Fransisco.
Virgine and Josh were very kind and the room was nice/well kept and spacious. The neighbors were a bit loud during the day, but it quieted down in the evening. I would stay here again.
Side note: If you plan to travel by BART, I would avoid the nearest station (16th & Mission) especially in the evening if you are a woman. I had a slightly scary encounter there and everyone I spoke with said it was a station best avoided.
