This has been a very carefully built project with a lot of attention to detail and very much a pleasant home to enjoy a long stay in a great city. The quaint "Cerrada' (small alley) reflects a very traditional and genuine are right on the border of ROMA NORTE and CONDESA.

Very much so - both via text, email before and during the stay. I also tend to personally greet them whenever possible (outside office hours) and give my personal tips.

it's green, quiet, walkable, a lot of nice places to eat and very practical as everything is close by: food stores, market, supermarket, pastry shops, metro stations to name only a few. I actually live 2 blocks away
8 minutes walk to the metro station. There's a taxi stand just in front and also a fun place to go to Roma and close to the centre with an electric bus.
o A very pleasant neighbourhood with a lot of green spaces and ideal for walks.
o 3 minutes walk to the PARQUE ESPANA and 10 minutes to the PARQUE MEXICO
o One of the best "on wheel market" (PACHUCA) every Tuesday 2 blocks away
o Organic shop, supermarket, butcher, corner shop and local cafes within 1 km radius
o Main Metro stations (SEVILLA, INSURGENTES, CHAPULTEPEC) 10 minutes away
o Private TAXIs (SITIO) available across the street
o Free Cycle scheme (ECO BICI) on the street corner along with bike rentals some blocks down.
To reach the flat from the airport or bus stations, just take an "authorised taxi" which will be around 200 pesos and say you're going to ROMA NORTE. You tell the taxi driver it is "una cerrada sobre GUADALAJARA, entre DURANGO y COLIMA justo en frente de un sitio de taxi"
The area is perfect for public transport - the PINK line (Chapultepec and Sevilla stops) are 7 minutes away walking.
Other Things to Note
On some occasions, guests have complained about the noise upstairs from my neighbour. I cannot do much about it as she wakes up early and the isolation is at times disturbing. I leave earplugs just in case it disturbs some others.
Because of the quietness and close vicinity of other flat owners, please refrain from having parties or loud music beyond decent hours and levels.
o Water supply: we manage water tanks / supply manually to avoid spillage. Please particular care with the water and also make sure the toilet flush goes back to its original position as it sometimes may stay a little bit tilted towards the bottom
o Do not hang any clothes / towels over the balcony.
o Trash needs to be split between ORGANIC and NON Organic - you are provided with two bins, a small and bigger one. Both are to be left in bins with the doorman.
o Smoking is permitted only on the balcony.
o Take particular care with the traditional tiles from Oaxaca as they are very porous and stains come immediately
o Particular care should be taken with towels when using special creams or cleaning products as it often stains them and need to be replaced.
Estuve trabajando un poco una semana en la ciudad de Mexico, la ubicación del depto es perfecta para mi, en Roma/Condesa y cerca de Reforma y Polanco, el WIFI funciona bien, hay comercios, restaurantes y lavandería cerca y es muy tranquilo. El dpto es tal cual aparece en la web, lo recomiendo.
We really enjoyed Eric's place and plan to stay there again on our next visit. We appreciated his foodie/organic guidebook and the food and wine that was left for us in the apartment. The place was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. The bed was hard and comfortable and although the walls were a little thin it wasn't an issue (the ear plugs were a nice touch but we didn't bother with them). After a few tries we figured out how to operate the hot/cold shower and the water pressure was fine. We also really liked this part of Roma because it was very close to metro and on a quieter street. Short walk to street tacos, good coffee, metro, mezcaleria, delicious restaurants and parks.
We had a wonderful stay in Eric's flat. The directions to get there were helpful and our taxi driver had no problem finding the flat. The doorman met us and helped us inside. Eric left us water, fruit and pan dulce. The space was exactly as it appears in the pictures. It was the perfect space for my family for our week long stay in the Condesa neighborhood. We even visited a few spots in Eric's guidebook. They were great! We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at Eric's place two nights. Eric was unavailable so we did not meet him. The place is as described in the images. It is close to the historical Center.
Eric was a very welcoming and kind host. He met us at the flat on arrival and had brought food for us to have supper. His recommendations were excellent - what to do, places to visit and restaurants. We particularly liked the food at Contramar.
The flat is in a lovely area to visit and is handy for the metro. It is light and airy and had everything we needed. It also has good security.

Eric's place in Mexico City was fantastic. Lovely spacious apartment in a fantastic location. Very safe and quite and close to lots of great restaurants and transport links. Though we didn't manage to meet Eric he made the whole experience very easy and even left some fruit and food in the fridge for us which was great on arrival. I would definitely stay here again!
Eric was very welcoming over Whatsapp. He greeted us in person at the flat and was super friendly. He even left some food to eat as it was Sunday and most stores were closed by the time we arrived. The flat was on a quiet alley in a cute building in an excellent neighborhood. The spaciousness of the living room was nice. The thing we didn't like was that it was wintertime and there is no heat in the apartment, and with tile flooring, it felt quite cold in there.
Thanks Alex - just a note to others: there are no flats in DF with central heating. it's a bit chilly like in most of the flats / office spaces - this is a general phenomenon. i have left a thick blanket and an electric heater. in any case, it's only a few weeks a year :)
French nationality but grew up in Mexico and now back after many years in Europe. I work in technology within the Music industry and run a small music festival and record shop in Mexico City.
