About This Listing
Our appartment is close to the train station of Genova Principe and the Aquarium.
Bright, comfortable and fresh in the summer. In the night the double living room becomes a nice bedroom with a beautiful view of the crêuza.
The door opens in the big living room, an area with sofa, TV, DVD player, playstation, stereo, turntable. We have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Bathroom with bath.
In the night the large sofa turns into a big bed. It's an old home, 4th floor without lift but well served by bus. Do you like walking? You can reach our home with a typical Genoese Creuza that connects via Balbi with Castelletto.
Our home is your home but, please, don't smoke :).
The warmth of wooden floor will suggest you to take off your shoes and walk free or with flip flops.
The only rule is: wisdom :)
Welcome to Genova!!!
In our district many families live with their children. The area is very quiet and cars are not allowed! In spring and summer, the landscape is enriched by the colors of the nature
By foot: few steps separate you from the sea, the Aquarium, the Castle de Albertis, the old port and the Museums of Genova
By train: you are close to the station of Genoa Principe. Take the train and you can go to 5 terre, Portofino and more...
By car: in the center of the city you'll pay for parking. you should park outside the city and take a bus....
The location is excellent: the immediate neighbourhood is quiet, and after descending about 170 steps of stairs (they are not very steep) there's only a short walking trip to the train station, city centre or whichever place you please. The house is spacious, has a great kitchen and looks quite a lot like its owners I believe. Lucio was unavailable during our trip, but the arrangements worked just fine. We were picked up from the train station by his friend and given a quick tour and presentation of the neighbourhood and the house. Travelling in winter, it was a bit chilly inside at times, though we didn't check the thermostate. Since there's no wifi in the house (as stated in the descriptions), you should have your tourist guides ready.
The flat is cosy and well equiped and situated in a really heart of Genova nevertheless You will need some physical condition to get in cause Genova is rather hilly and walking is sometimes hard (You can always use funicolare). The only thing Lucio should definitely change is bed ;) Nightmare...
There is no wi-fi in the flat so You should be aware and remember to use it in the city centre or in the port. For us Genova is extremely interesting place, undoubtedly worth visiting! The Cinque Terre also is beatiful but too crowdy (August...) and half of the famous path - between Riomaggiore and Corniglia is unfortunately closed... To sum up - go to Genova, eat foccacia, drink wine and have fun ;)
