The Space

If you'd like to stay in a room as charming as our quaint, historical village, and not spend a small fortune doing it, you have come to the right place! Enjoy the comfort of a private home and its many amenities. Less than a ten minute drive from downtown Milford, the room includes private bathroom, free wi-fi, a full continental breakfast and central air. Enjoy a complimentary beverage on one of our decks in the summer or sitting in front of a fire in the winter. View the stars through the skylight over your bed which are plentiful on clear nights. To see my other listing (another private room), go to On site parking is available. If you are a city dweller and don't drive, special accommodations can be made to pick you up at the (nearby) train or bus stops and/or bring you into town. This is a quiet and peaceful environment, great for a getaway vacation! Chosen by BUDGET TRAVEL as one of "America's 10 Coolest Small Towns", Milford has become a weekend destination for New Yorkers who love art galleries, antique shops, fine restaurants or just the great outdoors. TRAVEL AND LEISURE magazine was impressed enough to write an article about what you will find when you come to Milford. • We loved our stay with Tracey, who treated us like a friend from the moment we walked in! Her home was both comfortable and beautiful in a perfect natural setting. Just a few minutes drive from the heart of Milford, it was the perfect getaway and just what we needed!

  • Tracey was a very accommodating, gracious hostess to my daughters and myself. Her house is in a beautiful location and setting. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements and a fabulous breakfast. Our stay was quite pleasant and relaxing. Would highly recommend!

  • Tracey was extremely hospitable. When we arrived everything was ready for us, even in the middle of the day with no idea of when we would make it there. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. If you're into natural lighting, then youll love this room.

She was great with helping us pick what we should see in only 2 quick days in Milford. Breakfast was great as well. Both mornings everything was already prepared and ready to go by 8am. Tracey engaged conversation in the morning during breakfast when we were deciding where to do.

Overall, I would definitely stay with Tracey again and highly suggest that you contact her if you plan to be in Milford any time soon!

  • Tracy and Ron are great hosts! We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a great conversation with the hosts and they warmly welcomed us! The house is beautifully located in the forest near a really cute historic town of Milford and the room is just like the picture. They recommended many great restaurants and places to see in town and it was really helpful. I would love to come back in future. If you are arriving at night, it might be tricky to find this place but, Tracy will give you the detailed direction. :-)

  • This was our second stay with Tracey and we plan on staying here at least one time each year when we travel between New England & Florida. Great place, great location off route 84 and great places to eat in Milford! What more could you want?

  • Staying with Tracey made for beyond an awesome weekend. She made our group feel like we were family and had coffee, tea and cider ready for us upon arrival. Clarence (the friendly dog) greeting us too and added a nice warmth to our stay. She was super kind, funny, and a joy to be around. We also met her boyfriend, Ron, who was equally a great host. We had wonderful conversations and left wanting to spend more time with them. The house is stunning and sun-drenched. The beds and rooms were comfortable and the accommodations were plentiful. A huge thank you to Tracey and Ron. We will be back and hope to sometime repay the hospitality whenever they come to our neck of the woods!

  • Tracey and Clarence (the wonderful black lab) were very lovely hosts and it was a very relaxing weekend. Her house is nestled into the hills and has a beautiful view of the trees that tower below and above her deck. It is the perfect retreat from an active day of activities around the Delaware River water gap. It is just a mile from the River Beach Kittatiny launch site, 10 minutes from Milford and 20 minutes from Matamoras all great sites for spending the day canoeing, hiking, white water rafting or just walking. Of her two rooms we stayed in the red room which has the private bathroom downstairs, not really a problem as she provided luxurious robes to come and go in. Her other guest room, the white room, has the bathroom next to the room so we would recommend it as a first choice. Tracey was very accommodating as we are vegan and asked to be able to use the kitchen for preparing some food and she was happy to share her kitchen, and also prepared continental breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, granola and soymilk. We will definitely be staying back here next time we visit the Poconos water gap area.

  • Had a really great visit here - the place is exactly as described - peaceful, clean, quiet, nice private pool, close to town, even closer to kayaking the Delaware. And VERY friendly hosts - they were easy and fun to be with, made lots of helpful suggestions, and offered a very nice breakfast as well. The kicker is that when they found out from my sister (who was traveling with me) that it was my birthday while we were there, they voluntarily (and Very sweetly) made homemade french toast for her to bring up to my room! And they signed and sent up a birthday card too! What more could you ask for ? Except maybe an exceptionally handsome, big, friendly black dog to hang out with too - oh yes, they have that too! Good fun -- thanks again to our host...

I enjoy meeting new people, traveling to new places and learning about other cultures. I love music, photography, art and dancing. I have done some traveling in my time throughout Europe and the USA. A few of my favorite destinations are: Ireland, Sicily, Santa Barbara and St. Martin. Closer to home, I do have a soft spot for Boston's charm and NYC, whose theater and restaurants are well worth the hour and a half drive. Nonetheless, my favorite place to be in summer is right here at home.
