Large and spacious apartment in attractive and peaceful neighborhood in Hellerup only 6 km from the centre of Copenhagen.
With two bedrooms, a living room and a dining room, the apartment is the ideal base for a family or a party of up to 4 for relaxing on the beach, hiking in the woods, shopping on the exclusive Strandvejen or downtown Copenhagen, visiting Kronborg (The home of Hamlet), museums like Louisiana, Ordrupgaard, Statens Museum for Kunst.
INSIDE THE APARTMENT
The apartment is furnished with a stylish and eclectic mix of danish and scandinavian design, furniture, modern art and "funny stuff". The book and magazine collection is eclectic to put it mildly.
The master bedroom has a double bed. The smaller room facing towards the backyard has a single bed. If you are a party of 4, the fourth person can sleep on the wide couch, which is perfectly suitable as a bed.
The living room has a wide couch (200 cm) and a corner couch, tv, wireless speakers and direct access to the small balcony where you can enjoy the harbor and the life on Strandvejen while having a drink or a light lunch. The dining room has a large table and chairs for 4 people. More chairs can be found in the closet in the hall. Feel free to use the kitchen and the stuff in the fridge. Bathroom has shower and toilet.
THINGS TO SEE
The neighborhood offers dining at Hellerup Club, Altopalato, Sticks&Sushi, an italian "La Locanda" and several takeaway places. Several supermarkets and grocery shops are within short walking distance.
Take the train or Bus 1A to downtown Copenhagen where you can see The Little Mermaid (spoiler alert: She is REALLY small) and lots of other stuff and do your shopping on the worlds oldest pedestrian street, Stroeget and its cosy sidestreets.
I'll be more than happy to help you find all the secret spots of my wonderful city that you won't find in any of the tourist guides.

Interaction with Guests
As much as you prefer. Ask me for tips on restaurants, exhibitions - or other stuff that's on your mind.
The beach is nice. The harbour is nice. The shops are nice. The restaurants are nice. But you are not in Nice, you are in Hellerup.

Enjoy the art. Sit on the balcony. Flip through my books and magazines. Don't smoke. Use the stuff in the fridge. Turn off the lights when you leave. No noise after 10 o'clock. Take off your shoes when you are inside the apartment. Try the Spicy Tuna sandwich in nearby Joe & The Juice. Hands of my wine. Sleep tight. Have fun.
Jesper was an amazing host, and he welcomed us with the most delicious ecological Danish strawberries. The flat totally lived up to our expectations, and we can highly recommend the flat to others who wants to live close to the beach/nature, and still within very close distance to Copenhagen City Center
Great host, great flat!
Jesper was very swift and friendly in answering both our request to rent and other questions. Once in Copenhagen he met us in the flat, gave us a very thorough presentation of the restaurants and take aways in close proximity before he left us the key, a bottle of wine and told us to have a good time.
The flat is decorated in a cool way, has spacious living rooms and a small balcony with a tiny bit of sea view. It is located in a very nice and posh area just outside the centre of CPH (9 minutes by S-train). Stretches of the beach and good shopping is easily available.
If you don't need to live in the absolute centre of the city I would highly recommend contacting Jesper when considering a trip to Copenhagen!
Jesper's flat is is lovely, in a great location with bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, train and bus stops very close by. It is a perfect location to explore Copenhagen.
Jesper was friendly and met us on arrival and provided us with the information about the flat and the neighborhood.
We really enjoyed our stay
This was the first time I stayed at an Airbnb apartment and I am very happy with this choice. Jesper is a great host - friendly, flexible, easy-going and with a nice sense of humor. He offered us to stay until evening on our last day at no extra charge (we had a midnight flight), gave us bed linen and towels, and we could also use all kitchen equipment. Jesper also gave us valuable advice as to what cafes and restaurants to choose etc. The apartment is wonderful - with lots of light and space, and all those great paintings. We liked the neighborhood a lot - quiet streets, beautiful mansions, 5 min walk to the sea shore. Had a great time!
Jesper is a nice relaxed host. I had a great stay at he's spacious flat in a quiet street. With close proximity to stores and public transport. Can definitely see me returning back.
Stayed for second time in Jesper's beautiful apartment. It was even nicer than I remember. So bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. Jesper was so accommodating and flexible as regards check in and out times which was really really appreciated. Once again I found Hellerup to be perfect for a weekend trip and the perfect base for exploring Copenhagen. I really can't recommend this accommodation and host enough. You won't regret staying in Jesper's place.
About the Host, Jesper
I am a 49 year old advertising executive who enjoys life, food, wine, sports and art. I travel quite a lot, and stay at my girlfriends place a lot, so check out my calender to see if I should be away on the days you want to visit Copenhagen. I'll put a bottle of wine in the fridge for you. And change the sheets before you arrive. How is that for danish hospitality?
