Splendid B&B St. Agnes, located at the very center of the town of Assisi, was built in about 1100, and lies on a Roman villa which you can see some mosaics, some columns and some historical remains.
The residence, which stands on three floors with 4 apartments offers features rooms with double beds, 3 bathrooms, with bath or shower, a 'large dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful terrace.
The terracotta floors, wooden beams and fresco del'XVII sec. damage to the apartments of a noble warmth forgotten over time.
The furniture, ricercatamente simple, ideal for creating harmony days of complete calm in the heart of the City "poor man" St. Francis and St. Clare.
To fully appreciate even the culinary traditions around the Holiday Residence Agnes is possible to make wine tours at the best wineries in the area.
Every guest has his own room with a private bathroom and the room are on three different flores.
The living room, the lounge and the kitchen are the shared spaces of the house.
Me or my brother Giuliano will be present at your arrive and we'll be at the house or nearby if you need help or informations.
Favio,he was waiting so long when we arrived there over 11pm though he was so kind and warm to us. house was very romantic and comfortable which is center of the town.
What a treat! Everything about my stay at Residenza Sant'Agnese in Assisi was charmed and perfect. Fabio's brother Juliano was there to greet me for check-in. Although he claimed to have poor English, we communicated just fine and he was kind enough to show me how to use the coffee maker. He also outlined some great places to eat on the map he provided. Since I was staying mid-week in the shoulder season of tourism, I had the whole place to myself. The upstairs room is a charming attic room with gorgeous wood beams, an amazing view of the Assisi hillside, and a comfortable bathroom with my own tub. Breakfast was typical Italian style (sweet rolls and toasts with jams, yogurt and coffee, cereal available). The heat is controlled on each floor, so I was able to keep my room comfortable. I never turned the heat on the first floor (where the kitchen is located), so I would advise that visitors bring slippers for the cold tile floors. I was given my own key and had easy access to and from the house. It's close to the main square in Assisi on the less touristy end (i.e. away from the Basilica), which is perfect. I met Fabio briefly during my stay when he came to work in one of the rooms, and he too was kind and helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommended staying here!
We spent two nights at Fabios lovely house. Everything was perfect, comfortable bed, massive room and spotless bathroom. We also had the use if the kitchen, all fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar etc, nothing was overlooked. The breakfast baskets for the two morning were more than enough to keep us happy until lunchtime. Fabio kindly organised local taxi driver Paolo to collect and return us to the train station. Between them there is nothing they don't know about Assisi, both born and bred there. I highly recommend Fabio's house to anyone visiting this beautiful place. Ciao and many thanks Fabio for a great stay.

Fabio was a pleasure to work with. Flexible with our evolving arrival time, great recommendations for dinner and things to see in and around Assisi. To be able to stay in an 11th century home with an ancient Fresco in the living room was fun!
Beautiful place to stay in! I was the only guest for the 3 days so I had it all to my self. Fabio was so helpful as I had trouble with the heating and he came over at 10pm to check it out: the house was cosy; my room had a little terrace, beautifully renovated. Easy to find, very close to the plaza de commune and very close to st chiara. I would stay here again! The breakfast is not great but there is a kitchen you can use!
My daughter and I stayed five days at Residenza Sant'Agnese. I was a perfect place for us: a house from the middle ages, that enhanced our feeling of being in Francesco and Clara's compagny, the house was beautiful and very clean. The house was quiet an located in the end of the city that we love the most. The communication with Fabio was excellent.
I came back to Fabio's super house again. I was here about one month ago, and I loved it. This time it was even better, and now my friends are starting to come too, and they love it as much as I do.
Even in the cold winter the house was perfect, warm and cozy. I will be back as soon as I can. Highly recommended. Thanks, Fabio.
Second time in Assisi! Fabio was very kind again!
I recommend everyone this place.
I had a great experience at Fabio's place. It is very well situated and clean and beautifully restored. It is in a great location in Assisi, which is a beautiful and enchanting city. Lots of stairs but all manageable.
I did not have a phone and I found Fabio's place and just rang the door. He was gracious and accommodating even though I wasn't able to let him know exactly when I would arrive.
I was traveling alone and I met a lovely couple from S. America. We did not speak the same language but managed to have a great time.
I would recommend staying at Fabio's.
This is the closest you get to a 5-star hotel in a private house. My room was very beautiful, with oak beams in the ceiling, nice furniture, and all spotless clean. The bed was very comfortable. Even the elegant bathroom and the walk-in-closet had ceilings of oak beams.
This is the place to stay when in Assisi, because this house has the soul of the city. This 11th century house has been restored very carefully, showing all the interesting building techniques in its walls.
Fabio was very helpful and interesting to talk to. A perfect host, making you feel very welcome.
