Splendid B&B St. Agnes, located at the very center of the town of Assisi, was built in about 1100, and lies on a Roman villa which you can see some mosaics, some columns and some historical remains.
The residence, which stands on three floors with 4 apartments offers features rooms with double beds, 3 bathrooms, with bath or shower, a 'large dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful terrace.
The terracotta floors, wooden beams and fresco del'XVII sec. damage to the apartments of a noble warmth forgotten over time.
The furniture, ricercatamente simple, ideal for creating harmony days of complete calm in the heart of the City "poor man" St. Francis and St. Clare.
To fully appreciate even the culinary traditions around the Holiday Residence Agnes is possible to make wine tours at the best wineries in the area.
Every guest has his own room with a private bathroom and the room are on three different flores.
The living room, the lounge and the kitchen are the shared spaces of the house.
Me or my brother Giuliano will be present at your arrive and we'll be at the house or nearby if you need help or informations.
The location of this place is perfect, and the Residenza is very charming. Our host was warm and welcoming although she did not speak much English. The steps are very steep throughout the place which I only mention because we had large, heavy suitcases. Otherwise, it would not have been an issue.
The room was large, and had it's own private balcony with a lovely view. The beds were small, and not the most comfortable, but being that we only stayed one night it was no problem at all.
My Mom and I enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely come back if visiting Assisi. I highly recommend this place!
Fabios place was nice I had a great view the room instated in had high ceiling but it wasn't arched like the pic. It was nice and private , quite and easy literally across the street from everything. 2 minutes away . He let me keep my bags in the house for a little while after I checked out and was easy going about it.
We loved this quaint, spiritual, perfect town. Fabio briefly met us and provided an adequate overview of the fabulous, well located house and the breakfast routine. The house was very clean, well maintained, organized, orderly, and filled with history. Historic views greet the visitor from every window.
The private bathroom was perfectly clean and spacious.
The second floor private patio was an added treat.
The breakfast was the best one provided of the four places we stayed in Italy.
We loved our stay here and will stay there again in the future.
The room was large and comfortable with the most spacious bathroom we have had on our trip. The shared kitchen is fully equipped with each guest's breakfast supplies clearly color coded! The bedroom included exposed brick walls--some dating from Roman times and some from the time of St. Francis. In the common room there is a small fresco from the 1700's recently discovered during repairs to the wall.. Everything is within a short walk, including the bus stop to and from the airport. Our host and his brother met us and catered to our every need! We cannot imagine a better place to stay on Assisi.
We stayed here one night on the main floor. We arrived quite late and Fabio's sweet mom was there to greet us and set us up. Her English and our Italian were limited so plan more time to converse with her. The room was amazing and quite cool in temperature. The self serve breakfast is a basic continental with bread, torte, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee. It was nice to have breakfast at our own pace before the day began. It took us a bit to find the BNB. It is the only "house" that has stairs leading up to it on the block!
Fabio was not was not able to greet us when we arrived, but his mother was there to show us in and give us the information we needed. She was very sweet and kind to us. The house is absolutely beautiful and our room was fantastic. It was spacious and had all the modern amenities but still had the feel of a medieval building (which it is). The location was fantastic and right in the middle of Assisi. The WiFi worked great, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare coffee and breakfast in the mornings. The place was very clean and very reasonably priced for what we got. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a room in Assisi.
We loved our stay here. The apt. was freshly painted, nicely appointed and very comfortable. Our host was very help and very nice. When we come back to Italy we will be looking to reserve here again. We were sorry we had not scheduled our trip to stay longer! Now we know!
A great place to stay right in the heart of Assisi! The b&b was clean, warm and spacious, and decorated with a refined simplicity. Fabio is a very welcoming and polite host. As with all stone homes the sound carries a lot, but luckily the other guests didn't use the lounge area outside our suite very much. An upstairs room might be more private - another set of steps is nothing when you're already in a hillside town!
Had a great time in Assisi at fabio's. He's super organized and clean . No complaints. Thanks for hosting us fabio!
Favio,he was waiting so long when we arrived there over 11pm though he was so kind and warm to us. house was very romantic and comfortable which is center of the town.
