Tucked on 20 acres in the heart of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, this retreat offers more than just a place to stay—it’s a working vineyard and a fully immersive Wine Country experience.
PLEASE NOTE: connected to the building yet, completely separated from the house by the garage and stairwell, we have a caretaker and her pup who live onsight to assist with guests or Farm Ops. Her name is Teina, she’s 35 and has been in the wine industry for over 10 years! She can create a gorgeous
cheese/charcuterie board for you if you’d like, with 24hrs notice!

While you're staying here, the house will be your oasis for socializing and relaxing, but if you see some of our staff onsite, please feel free to ask us about the goings on! Explore the property and enjoy all the amenities. We have a gated entry and will provide you with a code prior to arrival.

Please note that this is a working farm, and you may see a crew tending to our vines. (Lucky guests in late September may even witness the harvest!) Some areas of the property are not open to guests due to equipment, materials, and operations that could be unsafe for those not familiar with agricultural practices. These areas are marked and delineated by fencing and gates. We ask guests not to enter them without supervision.
Staff is available should you need any assistance during your stay.

The $42 charge listed as a "management fee" on your quote covers your purchase of $3,000 of "all risk" damage protection coverage on your rental property. Neighborhood highlights
Kanzler Estate is located 4 miles (as the crow flies) from charming downtown Sebastopol in the rural Sebastopol Hills neighborhood. It's a beautiful area of farms and vineyards. Note that cell phone service can be spotty. The roads are narrow with sharp turns, and you’ll want to be especially cautious driving at night because deer and other creatures may cross the roads.

The vineyard house is a magical place and we look forward to sharing it with you. I grew up here, and it's been wonderful to transform the family home into a luxurious vacation stay. I'm now the winemaker at Kanzler Vineyards, and our signature bottling is the Estate Reserve Pinot Noir we make from the vineyard surrounding the house. When you stay on the private estate you'll relax thoroughly, witness Mother Nature's miracles, and have easy access to everything wine country has to offer. We include a complimentary wine tasting and vineyard tour with my lovely wife Breauna, where you'll try rare small production wines that we set aside just for estate guests.
