Other Things to Note
Every home in Bawley Point relies solely on rainwater tanks for water. Please enjoy it but preserve it, especially during dry times.
Respect the neighbours and smoke outside.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Annette's place in Bawley Point. Only 5 minutes from the beach. The property was as described. It was also great to have the flexibility to arrive and leave at the times we wanted to, rather than at fixed times.
The description was accurate and the house was in a lovely spot, only a few hundred meters to the beach. Cozy and clean, ideal for a couple or a small family.
Annette was a fantastic host! We booked her cottage very last minute for a 1 night stopover and she went out of her way to ensure that everything was set up for us in time.
The cottage is clean and comfortable and has everything you could need for a holiday. Great collection of music, DVDs and games. There is a beautiful patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ and it's a short walk from the beach and a cafe.
Great value for money! I would stay again.
Clean tidy beach shack. Kitchen well equipped and tv d dvd player with lots of dvds. Really nice deck furnished with bbq and sofa, table and chairs. We had a bit of a mossie problem so bring plug ins and spray but it was bad rainy weather when we were there so that maybe been the issue. Nothing to do with the house but iseful to know, this was the only place in 12 weeks in australia that it was difficult to get telstra data reception and there is no wifi available. The only place I could get one bar was outside on the deck but only between 1am and 5am.
We really enjoyed our stay at Malibu Cottage. Nice, clean, well presented home on a lovely street. Thanks for the coffee/tim tams! We really appreciated it. Would definitely stay again. Oh and after reading an old review re ants I was a bit worried but not a single ant/bug in sight!
Malibu cottage was a pleasant and comfortable stop between Merimbula and Sydney, the house was big enough and comfortable for 4 people. I didn't get to meet Anette in person, but she was easy to communicate with and I thank her for her hospitality
I am a teacher who loves travelling with my husband and two kids, and sometimes without them. South East Asia is a favoutrite destination for the food and culture and we love meeting the locals. Our aim is to provide self contained accomodation to travellers with a bit of local knowledge thrown in.
