I had the pleasure of staying in Kassie's apartment for 3 months and it was nothing short of spectacular! It was so nice to come home to an apartment that was inviting and cozy every day. Kassie had every kitchen item I needed, as well as plenty to spare! The location of this apartment is amazing, making it easy to reach public transportation, with tons of local shops in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a cozy location that will allow them to receive the whole Chicago experience!!! When I come back to Chicago, I will definitely be looking to stay here again!
Linda and I are really glad we chose to stay at Kassie and Dan's apartment on Division. Besides location we are very concerned about staying in a place that reflects pride of ownership. Their Airbnb listing seemed to speak to us that this property was the right one and we were not disappointed in any way. It looks just as depicted in the photos and description. Tastefully decorated and very "clean".
Really loved the fact that we did not feel cramped one iota. The living room and bedroom are large and the well-equipped and upgraded kitchen was a dream, including Micro, DW, W/D and necessary smaller appliances. All we had to do was fill the fridge. The pass-thru granite-covered bar was perfect for conversations and watching TV while preparing meals. All-in-all, it is a very comfortable unit and has a "right-at-home" feel. Don't want to forget to mention that the Wi-Fi and cable worked flawlessly.
Additionally, being on the 2nd floor provided a feeling of security. The residents were quiet and there are a number of tables on the atrium/patio for just sitting, reading, wine sipping, etc. It was a bit muggy, at times, during our 8-day stay and we did run the two A/C's, only briefly. They worked perfectly and are very, very quiet.
The location is perfect for us. From the building's front door we could be at a bus stop, subway (Red Line), Plumb Market, Jewell/Osco, Walgreens and CVS within 2 - 4 minutes. There are many and varied restaurants in the immediate area (ie, Wells, Rush, Mag Mile, etc.) or, one can jump on the CTA and be further downtown in just minutes. Additionally, cabs are very plentiful right outside the building. You can walk to the lake in just a few minutes and, frankly, we walked down to the Chicago River with very little effort.
For us, this will be our top choice on our returns to Chicago. Kassie and Dan are very nice people and responsive. They replied to our texts quickly upon our arrival. Dan met us at the apartment, as promised, to let us in and provide keys. We made short work of their gift of wine, humus, cheese and bread.
Thank you Kassie & Dan!

Dan and Kassie are excellent hosts- I highly recommend staying here. The apartment is clean and well appointed and in an excellent location- I lived in Chicago for 8 years so I know my way around and staying here made it easy to do that.
The apartment is in a great location, close to public transportation, restaurants, and an easy walk to the lakefront. There are Divvy bike stations nearby, which are very convenient for short trips. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, whether you like to cook or stay in, sleep late or spend all your hours exploring Chicago.
Kassie replied promptly to my emails and check in/check out was easy. From my previous Airbnb experiences, I expected to pickup the key from some anonymous stranger or location and then figure out the apartment on my own. Here, Dan met me at the agreed-upon time and showed me around the building and apartment.
We really enjoyed our 2 weeks holiday in Kassie's apartment.
Kassie and her husband offered us a warm welcome.
They gave us some good advice about things to do (events in the parks, great restaurants, nice shops, ...).
The location is perfect beacause you have the red line just nearby and you have plenty of supermarkets, bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. You can also easily walk to Magnificent Mile.
Finally, the apartment is very well equipped, you have every thing you need to spend a good time.
We recommend you this apartment and we won't hesitate to go there again.
If you are going to Chicago, stay at Kassie's place! 100% wholeheartedly recommend her place. I spent 6 weeks at her apartment and fell in love with the city. There are endless things to do on Wells and Division but you are also only 2 blocks from the red line which you can get to John Hancock, Navy Pier, Willis Tower very easily. The apartment is very clean and has everything that you might need: cooking supplies, washer/dryer, dishwasher, air conditioning, TV, and it is tastefully decorated. Kassie was soo easy to communicate with, she was always just a text or phone call away. I never had to worry about anything with her, she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and that she could help me out however she could. I brought my car and there was a garage about 2 blocks away that did monthly parking for a reasonable rate, street parking was limited but not impossible to find. This was my first AirBNB experience and it was a great one! I really hope to stay there again soon, I already miss Chicago.
Kassie, we enjoyed our stay in Chicago and in your apartment. It is perfectly located in order to explore this magnificent city. Just a minute from your place is the Jewel supermarket and Walgreens. The apartment is cosy and everything is there. We did not miss anything. And it is clean. The most important thing for us. Therefore we only can recommend Kassies apartment.
We had a great time in Chicago and Kassie's apartment was great for exploring the city. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
Kassie's place was perfect for our family. Spacious, clean, and convenient. She even had toys for our little one to play with. She was a great host. I would definitely stay here again.
Kassie was the perfect host and her apartment was the perfect location for our first trip to Chicago. It is located 2 blocks from the Red Line and on the edge of Old Town, which was filled with neighborhood restaurants and Second City and Zanie's comedy clubs. Back to the apartment, it was a delight to come home to after busy days of visiting museums and sightseeing. Bed was fabulous! Neighborhood grocery store within 2 blocks, Starbucks 3 blocks away. Also 2 blocks away was Table 52 restaurant, our favorite. We would love to return to Chicago and to Kassie's apartment! Sheila & Ben
