Host was very welcoming and responsive to all my inquiries. Kassie accommodated a late night check in and gave us everything we needed to get to the unit. Her apartment is in a nice location with really convenient access to the red line (if you plan to go car-less). I considered many different locations before finding our place to stay the weekend and we definitely were happy.
It was my first time with air bnb and I have to say that it was a very good surprise to live like an American and not like a tourist in a room Hotel. I will book for sure for my next trip via Air bnb. This apartment has a perfect location very close to the town center and and to the shore lake to enjoy the beach during summer. The old town is near and very cool to chill. We really enjoyed our trip with my Mom in Chicago. Kassie had been adorable but unfortunately we didn't meet cause she was in vacation too. Thank you for everything.
Dan, Kassie's husband, was there to welcome us. He was extremely helpful. He gave us information about Chicago's attractions, amenities, restaurants and bars. The apartment was exactly as we expected. It was very comfortable and had a strong wi-fi signal. The location was excellent near Old Town. We enjoyed using the high quality "Plum" supermarket. The Magnificient Mile was a short walk away where there was great shopping. Ohio Beach, near Navy Pier, was fantastic for swimming. It was a mere 30 minute walk away. We enjoyed a concert in Millenium Park and ate in Billy Lawless's "Gage" restaurant near "The Bean". We recommend Kassie's apartment highly. Chicago is a fantastic city with a buzz. Oh, before I forget it, we loved Andy's Jazz Club- the music there was first class, wonderful atmosphere and you can eat there too.
Kassie was nice though we did not meet during our stay. She promptly replied via email and sms. It would be perfect if she or her husband could have managed to meet us at the check-in instead of requesting us to get the keys in another place. We were exhausted after a long trip and then tried to find the place to get the key. The apartment is accurately posted: clean, private and well equipped. This is a great home at a safe and convenient location. Strongly recommend!
Julia and me were in Chicago for two months and felt very at home in Kassies flat! Truly a home away from home. The location is amazing, close to great bars and restaurants and it is also easy to walk to downtown. The kitchen is equipped very well, which is ideal for longer stays. Kassie also tried her best to solve some problems that we had during our stay. I would like to stay there again if I come back!
Great, clean, cozy and comfortable space! Was greeted with a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers. Kassie was very accommodating and flexible with check-in / out times. She was very responsive, available and checked in throughout the stay.
Kassie's place is just terrific. In perfect location just 1 block from Clark&Division subway station and near many grocery stores (Jewel Osco, Plum, Walgreen, CVS, etc.) If you want, you could walk to the Loop in just about 20-25 minutes. The apartment itself is nicely decorated, very comfy, and with all amenities that you'll need! Kassie also responded really quick when there was a slight problem (low battery with the smoke detector) and she came by to drop off the new batteries the next day.
All in all, a great place and I highly recommend this place!

About the Host, Kassie
I live in Chicago with my husband and two children ages 3 and 1yr and we are expecting our 3rd in December. I am a stay at home mom. I left teaching middle school Spanish to raise my children. My husband is a Movnat trainer and wellness coach. We love good food, adventure, traveling and meeting new people... airbnb has helped us to continue to do this and share in all of it with our children. As hosts we enjoy meeting travelers from around the world and giving them a clean and equipped place they can call home while they are exploring the area.
