Every trendy New Yorker will tell you that Williamsburg is the most happening neighborhood in New York. (Lonely Planet has a whole section dedicated to Williamsburg.) It is said to have the highest concentration of artists and musicians in the USA. It has a carefree vibe with many lovely little finds around each corner -- full of interesting shops, lively local bars and cafes, great restaurants, nice parks and organic farmer's markets. There are amazing bands playing every night at numerous local venues. Come to Williamsburg to meet the locals and feel the real contemporary energy of New York City!
This house is two minutes walk to Lorimer Street station on L subway train (5 minutes to 1st Ave in Manhattan, 8 Minutes to Union Square). Union Square is often considered the center of NYC by local New Yorkers. You will find hundreds of shops and restaurants, many interesting people and performers around that area. In Williamsburg, Within 2-5 mins walk from my house, you will find grocery places, bakery, pizzeria, coffee shop, sandwich shops, bagel shop, wine shop, laundry, restaurants. Within 10-15 mins walk, you will find more shops, cafes, super markets and restaurants. All good quality!
No Smoking, No Pet, No Party please. Make yourself at home but do respect our house and leave it reasonably tidy and clean.
This is a shoes-off apartment (to keep the place super clean), please leave your outdoor shoes by the door inside the apartment. Indoor slippers will be provided but you are encouraged to bring your own ones. Thanks

We had the perfect stay in this "Cozy Home". Just 2 blocks from the next subway station this apartment was the best basement to start our sightseeing trips to Manhattan. The comfy bed gave us new energy every night to start our days fresh and new. The apartment had all we need to feel like home. The neighborhood seemed very quiet and safe so that we always could calm down from the more loud and hectic but stunning Manhattan. Thx to Oz and Peter for having us. :-D
Oz was a great host, everything was as advertised on the website. A fantastic location close to the tube and shops. Apartment had everything we needed. Oz went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks a lot!
Located in a lovely quiet street in Williamsburg but just around the corner from lots of amazing places including Brooklyn Star at the end of the block and of course the subway less then 5 mins walk (15 mins into Manhattan). This is such a lovely apartment, large, spacious, warm even in minus 15 weather. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Comfy bed, brilliant power shower and all amenities. Will definitely come back!
Oz' place in Williamsburg was great - lovely house in a perfect location I. Williamsburg. Perfect for exploring nearby Bedford Ave area and jumping on the L to Manhatten. Oz was also a lovely host and left some helpful tips about the area
Our experience could hardly have been better. This was a perfect place to stay while in town for our son's wedding. There was room to invite a few family members in at times. We felt at home. The place was very clean, had a convenient kitchen, large bedroom and comfortable bed. Furnishings were comfortable and the art was great, made the place even more home-like. The location is central and walkable for many restaurants, stores, subway connections, anything you might need. This was the quietest place we have ever stayed in Brooklyn. Parking was not difficult to find, even with the snow. The only thing that could have been improved was the weather, and I guess Oz can't really do much about that! We hope to stay here again in the future.
We felt really at home in this beautiful and clean apartment. Everything we needed was there. We've been there for a week in January and even though there was a lot of snow outside, it was cozy and warm inside. The hosts O and Peter are very nice and friendly, they showed us everything, if we had any questions, they were there for us. We liked the neighborhood a lot - it was safe and quiet and there were a lot of nice restaurants, little grocery stores and bakeries around. For us it was a perfect base to explore NYC, because in about 15 minutes we could reach the center of Manhattan by subway (the next subway station is really close). We would love to stay there again in summertime.
Staying at Oz’s place was perfect - it was our best holiday experience! I was delighted to find the house clean and spacious, just like the photos. And just like we had read, the bed was wonderful! We slept so well, wish we could've stayed longer. Oz is very helpful, there to give advice on new local restaurants and Manhattan but only when we needed her. We were aware that her family lives next door but didn’t hear much noise while in our apartment. We are sensitive about privacy, and felt completely satisfied with this place. Quaint decoration, fresh towels, full kitchen supplies -- all clean and well maintained. We found fresh bags of tea, some snacks, coffee, etc. -- compliments of Oz. She seems to have plenty of experience and knows how to please her guests. We love this cool neighborhood too -- many restaurants and shops (too bad we didn’t have time to enjoy them all). I really enjoyed a quiet, relaxing walk in the snow and crisp air with my husband to a park nearby. Going to Manhattan is VERY convenient. The walk to the subway is 2-3 minutes, then only another 10 - 15 minutes via the L train to Union Square. There is so much to do in New York! We miss it already! We will definitely come back to Oz’s apartment again. What else can you ask for? Great apartment and super kind host. Thanks Oz!
