Unique Characteristic for this listing:
- Hang out at my gorgeous back porch while checking your email, working on your computer or drinking coffee and enjoying the breeze.
Please note that this not a hotel room with a 24 hours service which is why it's so so so much cheaper, and much more laid back than hotels. Also, the room is in a house that was built in the 1920s so while you can find so many of Brooklyn's characters in it, it's not really shiny. In addition, the pictures are taken by a professional Airbnb photographer. I love those photos but some guests commented that Airbnb photos didn't convey the real look of the room. In any case, pictures are taken for the same room, I assure you. Lastly, please consider picking up after yourselves (towels, bath stuff, bathroom mat, and wash your plates/pots after cooking). At times, guests think that the house is untidy or dirty when it's actually another guest who decided to leave things unwashed... etc. :). In addition, please be advised that when you don't clean after yourself in the kitchen or bathroom, or when you eat in your bedroom that there is a chance that you see a mouse or roach. Thanks for reading.

Interaction with Guests
As much as guests want. I may or may not be present during the stay but if I am not, someone else should be there.
I love that my neighborhood is diverse, fun, not uptight, open, and I mostly love that I can get anything anytime of the day or night. I love that there are so many cafes and restaurants. I love that there are museums, parks, free concerts almost all summer long.
Public transportation are about 5 minutes away, and buses are only 30 steps away from my house. Parking is free although you have to abide by the two days cleaning for each side of the street from 9-11 in the morning.
To get from airport, take a taxi for $30-$40, or take the bus or subway for less than $10 total per passenger.
Lock the outside doors when you leave and when you come home please. No smoking inside the house. You can surely smoke on the deck downstairs. No pets. Also, please wash your dishes, pans ... etc if you decide to cook at home. And keep your towels and bathroom bags in your room. Don't forget to hang the floor towel after showering. If you decide to shave, please clean the hair on and around the sink and bathtub. Thanks a lot.
Host was welcoming and place was as described -- very pleasant experience.
This is my second time staying in this property and I found it to be as comfortable and convenient as I did the first time. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean and the location is convenient to the 2 and 5 trains which will get you to Manhattan quickly. Natasha and Firoz were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the wifi which was is slow and flaky from this part of the house (it was much better from a different part of the house on my previous stay). I recommend and think you will enjoy your stay here.
We did enjoyed. Natasha's brother was very friendly and gave us helpful tips on things to do in the neighbourhood. The room was cozy and comfortable. The place is just 5-7 minutes from the subway station and it's really quick and easy to get into Manhattan. We'd love to come back.
Overall, we had a nice stay. The pictures do make the place seem a bit nicer than it is, but if you’re looking for somewhere to simply spend a couple nights it’s more than sufficient (and way cheaper than a hotel!). It’s also relatively close to the subway, so that was a plus. Majeed was an amazing host – he was incredibly amicable, genuine, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for the great stay!
Great time, was awesome to have some space and privacy. I stayed for 10 nights. Took about 25m to get into Manhattan via the 2 or 5 trains.
