Our group of nine girls rented this place for a girls weekend and were well suited by Apt 1 at Heritage house. There were three separate bedrooms with a forth living room/bedroom. The three bathrooms all had showers which was great for a large group. The apartment's interior construction is a little rough around the edges but overall clean and has the necessities. This is a two story garden apartment and stays pretty cool in the summer without needing air-conditioning. The hosts have a computer inside the apartment with a printer and wifi for printing out parking passes and looking up anything you need. We were able to walk to everything from the apartment (CN Tower, Chinatown, St. Lawrence Market, Entertainment District, Eaton Center, etc). If we weren't in the mood to walk we used the bike share: (website hidden) The neighborhood is quite at night which was nice. Would definitely recommend this location for large groups. There was a great Metro grocery at Church and Gould St. only a few blocks away.
Nine of us stayed here for 7 nights recently in March whilst we attended Canadian Music Week. The hosts were very flexible with the check in and check out times and also friendly. They allowed us to use the telephone for local calls too which was great as we didn't have Canadian SIM cards for our mobile phones.
The place suited us exactly - it was warm and there were enough beds.
It wasn't as clean as I had expected but it also wasn't filthy so that's probably the only downside.
The location is great. There's a great little diner on George St where we went for breakfast a few times and also the Eaton Centre is only about 10mins walk away.
I would recommend staying here and will stay here again if we come back as a large group.
We had a great time at Shuter House. It was clean. Linda was responsive to all our needs. The location can't be beat. Great spot if you have a larger group.
The house is beautiful! It was clean and well kept. It slept 12 people comfortably! The neighborhood is nice. I would come back again!
We had a great stay here. The location was fantastic (5 minutes from Eaton center) with easy parking right in front of the building. The house was simple, but clean and very comfortably housed 9 of us. We would have no qualms about staying here again! Thanks for a great trip Linda!
Great place to stay. Accomodating host. Plenty of space to sleep. Neighbourhood has some sketchy characters. A/C works great.
We had 5 people sitting in the back garden on a weekend afternoon and recieved complaints from the neighbours for being loud (who called the owner instead of asking us to be quiet).
Great location. Linda very helpful. Great facilities.
This place is very well located, near the mall and subway station. The bedroom was so cozy that sometimes would let me get out of my bed! Paul and Linda were very kind to me, and I expect to come back!
Really good ratio price/quality of housing.
Good location: 5 minute walk to Eaton Centre and subway
Quite comfortable: huge bedrooms, bathrooms, everything included (small breakfast even though it is not a hotel)
