ART HOUSE Guest-cottage behind historic building/house that was originally a church, starting around 1911, in the City of Decatur, a diverse "A+" rated small city located just a few miles from downtown Atlanta. Modern cottage with contemporary feel, first built as art studio, has beautiful light and open space.

The space
Plenty of windows and a tall vaulted ceiling over central area contribute to the bright open feel of modern the Guests-house spaces. Inspired by the main building's original use as a church, starting around 1911, the smaller chapel-like structure has an intimate but expansive feel. Smaller but very well designed kitchen and full bath are remarkably stylish; fixtures and most furnishings are completely new, as is the complete central heating and air system. Wi-fi, flat screen TV ( Roku, Sling TV, Netflix), and stereo are included. Kitchen is equipped with cooking/dining basics and snacks, breakfast items coffee and tea are provided. Walls feature works by local, regional and international artists.

Other things to note
— Loft and art storage area to right of loft ladder are not part of the living space. Please enjoy art, interesting architecture without climbing loft ladder or entering loft or art storage area. It’s fine to turn loft lights and art storage room lights on/off. MANY THANKS!!!
