Me and my 14 years old son came late (due to hiring the car) and hungry and had the frustration of not being able to find the street number on the airbnb ad (though it is well signed on the house once you get there, but the street is long and one-way and there are lots of houses).
Once you came in, the house and its residents were really nice. Brian told us where to eat (at a nice pub down the road where the food was excellent).
We lived upstairs in room 4, and it was nice and cosy.
We got the internet code when we arrived and that was nice.
There are no sockets in the bedroom, so we waited to charge our phones and computers. (But I am sure it could be arranged to charge it somewhere else in the building if we asked. Brian is really helpful).
He asked us what we wanted for breakfast when we came, and in the morning it was so nice to see a perfectly laid table (cosy in every detail) with plenty of sf small marmalades and butters and lots of serials and milk. The coffee was brilliant!
We enjoyed living there and look forward to come again in a few days when we return from our trip round in western and southern Ireland by car (one week).
The welcoming from Brian and Phyllis was warm and cordial. My first stay of 2 days was very pleasant. The location was perfect meeting all my needs. The breakfast was very good and both hosts went out of their way to insure I had everything I wanted and needed. Thank you for your hospitality. I hope to stay with you again.
Even thought I arrived late in the evening and was more looking for somewhere to crash, it was just what I needed. the room was very comfortable and clean.
Brian was a very good host and made it quite clear that if there was anything I needed to just ask.
Breakfast perfect and set me up for the rest of the day.
Brian and Phyllis were very friendly and helped us with directions and suggestions for Dublin. Phyllis prepared a great Irish breakfast for us every morning. The room was nice and location is great (just a few minutes walk from the DART and bus stop).
