This place it's for nature's lovers! Deep in the green of Connemara we could see horses eating outside our cottage. WOW! But not only horses outside ..sometimes some spider was inside! This is the nature in all her beauty!
Bedding, bathroom and the kitchen furniture were well cleaned and the house is fully equipped.
There's a reception always opened for guests where you find the wi-fi, one pc, many dvd films to see and some toys for kids.
Mary is kind and helpful and we had a comfortable holiday in her cottage!
We passed very good holidays on Cottage in Connemara. The cottage is nice traditional house with a roof in stubble, with big ventilated rooms and particulary, a great living room with several windows allowing to have the landscape under different orientation.
Note there are many bumblebees due to proximity of nature.
Enjoy live in this cottage
Nous avons passé trois agréables jours et nuit au cottage chez Mary. L'endroit est calme, spacieux et bien équipé. Les cottages sont idéalement situés pour visiter le connemara.
The cottage does have good views of the mountains and countryside as advertised. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage with twin and king bedrooms. The cottage also included a kitchen with washer/dryer, which was small. The cottage smelled of cigarettes - note that the listing states that smoking is allowed, so be aware if you are a nonsmoker. There is no wifi in the cottage itself - the wifi is available in reception which is a 5 minute walk from the cottage we stayed in. The cottage is off the main road and is in a quiet rural setting and is a 10-15 minute drive from the village.
