Sean was great, and we loved our time in Ballyglass. Warm fire left on every day when we got back, and extremely comfortable, spacious and clean accommodation. We were all very upset to leave!
Sean and Sheila were great hosts. The loft was perfect for our two nights in Mayo and wish we could have stayed longer. Sean lights a fire every night and after hiking Craugh Patrick (highly reccomeneded, but not easy!) we came back to a warm house. There's a small market with the essentials less than 100 yards away and there's a real locals only pub 5 minutes up the road. We are so happy we got to stay at the loft, it had plenty of space and a good central location to stay at while exploring Mayo during the day. Highly recommended, thank you Sean and Sheila for a great stay!
House was stunning and as described. Host was there to meet us on arrival and had a beautiful fire lit. House was cosy & warm and most welcoming. Couldn't recommend Sean & the cottage highly enough
The Stone Cottage provided everything we hoped for and more. Sean was an exceptional host who went above and beyond for us prior to us arriving as well as when we got there. He personally took us to a boat hire connection as he knew fishing was something we wanted to do. He took time from his evening to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable and familiar with the area. Not to mention the fire in the woodstove he had going when we arrived.
The accommodations were very cozy, and warming and provided the old world charm of Ireland.
The cows greeted us as we pulled up and welcomed our stay the whole time. We had everything we needed in the cottage and much more. I would definitely recommend staying if you want to visit the lakes region. Thanks again for a great stay!
Sean was great, had the turf fire going as soon as we came in, and then left us to our own devices! The place was everything we hoped for, was warm, cozy, and the perfect place to fall back to after a long day of touring the area.
What a wonderful stay. Sean met us right away and showed us around. A beautiful stone cottage with a fire roaring for us when we arrived on a chilly Irish day. A bit out of the way, but worth it. The cottage was lovely and well prepared for us.
