It was a brilliant loft for our vacation. Everything turned out to be exactly as described. All photos on the platform showed the house as it was: cosy, warm, perfect.
Sean lit a fire for us every day and was helpful and kind to answer all questions we had.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone looking for a relaxing time in rural Mayo!
Sean's home is fabulous. There was a turf fire burning when we arrived and when we returned from sightseeing on the following day! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all that we would need. Sean was able to even arrange for us to arrive a day earlier than planned. His children chipped in to help to make it happen. Sean's home is in the perfect location for exploring Achill Island, Westport, Galway and The Connemara. The local pub was a wonderful place to be for St. Patrick's Day!
Excellent host. Lovely house, very relaxing. Great fire lit every evening which was great. Sean was a great host.
Sean was an absolute gentleman. His house was fantastic. It was so cosy and ideal for the few of us for the night. We will definitely be returning, hopefully during the summer, and for longer this time. Would highly recommend it!
I highly recomend Sean's house, it´s cosy and spacious, ideal if you are exploring the west of Ireland. You will enjoy the amazing landscape and have a great stay ! Thanks Sean.
We had a great stay at the loft cottage. It's a very cozy house but has plenty of room. The kitchen was fully equipped and was a perfect place to cook our Christmas dinner! Sean has very welcoming and ensured that there was plenty of turf for the fire. The location is calm and quiet and has good access to the NW of Ireland.
Sean and his daughter Stephanie both made us feel incredibly welcome in their little stone cottage. The fire was roaring when we arrived, and we hunkered down for a cozy evening after a quick trip to the local pub. It was lovely to turn our phones off and just enjoy the night - be sure to go outside and look up at the stars. Amazing!
