My home is located in a quiet downtown Charleston suburban area just about a 3-5 minute drive (or short bike ride) from Upper King, amazing restaurants and shopping, gorgeous parks, our local Charleston Farmer's Market at Marion Square, and many historic sites. The Peninsula of historic downtown Charleston is about 3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide, so everything downtown is very convenient and easily accessible by car, Uber/taxi, pedicab, or bike. Feel free to bring your own bikes or I can recommend some nearby bike rental companies.

Interaction with Guests
I am yours 24/7 - please don't hesitate to call with any questions at any time!
My Neighborhood is called North Central, and like the name suggests, it is on the central north side of the Downtown Charleston Peninsula. Besides having great neighbors, what I love about my neighborhood is that the homes have a lot of charm and character as many of them were built in the early to mid 1900s, we have yards to spread out in and driveways for parking, and it is quiet at night time. There are about 15+ restaurants/bars within walking distance. It is very near the interstate, so it's a super quick trip to and from the airport. It is an excellent place for a run, walk, or bike ride, even in the later hours of the evening. Although a few of the homes are slightly transitional, North Central is a very neighborly, charming, sweet little spot!
•Charleston is not known for its public transportation, so it's not a great solution if you are doing any off-Peninsula exploring. If you are just exploring downtown Charleston, you don't need a car, but many of my guests bring a car. I have a drive-way for easy parking!
•Uber is available in Charleston as well as Taxi services like Green Taxi and Yellow Cab.
•One of my favorite ways to get around and explore the Peninsula is by bike. I have a great recommendation for renting bikes if that interests you.
•There are free Carta DASH Trolleys just below the Crosstown (Highway 17) on the Peninsula of Downtown Charleston.

I have been working in the hospitality and service industry for over 18 years, and will be happy to provide recommendations on activities and dining in the area. I love meeting people from all over the world and hosting through Airbnb.
I currently work full time for a large construction firm. I love music, art, running, hula hooping, going to the beach, boating, good food, and good wine.
I am a very clean and organized person. I have no children or pets, but welcome them in my home as long as they are well behaved and their parents clean up after them. :) My home is not completely child proof, so if you and your child or children are visiting here, I recommend doing a walk through to put away any decor that may be an issue.
