This is a studio in the 17th Arrondissement, on the edge of the 8th, which is minutes from the Arc de Triomphe by Metro or just 20 minutes should you chose to walk. Outfitted with kitchen, shower, and everything you need to live like a local!
PLEASE READ: the apartment is on the 8th floor and there is NO elevator, as is the case in many 200 year old buildings. :-) But I promise you the view that awaits you at the top of those 8 floors will be worth the climb. And if you're smart about how you plan your day you'll only have to make that climb at the end of it. And hey, you're going to walk a heck of a lot more anyway, in this city. Still interested? You'll also see via my reviews that I'm an active AirBNB user - both from the host side and the guest side.
If I am not traveling I will be there to show you the neighborhood and orient you to the room myself, otherwise one of my knowledgeable and friendly staff will.

Everything! The stuff behind the purple curtain is linens and cleaning supplies. You don't need have to worry about that stuff.
You can find my love of my neighborhood, and of the city, at the website The American in Paris.
You are a 5 minute walk from 2 MAJOR Metro lines, the 2 (Courcelles and Monceau) and the 3 (Wagram).
Other Things to Note
I have SFR FIBER installed at the apartment, which is the fastest possible internet connection you can get at a residence. It's faster than most DSL/cable connections in the rest of the world. Enjoy! :-)
No smoking, no pets.
We were very happy with our choice of accommodation. We were shown the neighbourhood by friend of Stephens who was very nice and helpful. The space was as described and felt comfortable to stay in. The neighbourhood was cool and relaxed and was a joy to return home to.
Stephen was very accommodating with a crazy travel schedule that le me to change meeting times on several occasions. When we finally were able to meet, he was very helpful in showing me around the neighborhood, providing me with info about cultural do's and don't's and helping me schlep my 50 lbs suitcase up those notorious stairs! The apartment's views are just as they have been described and the apartment itself was a lovely place to call home at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this place!
Stephen met us at the metro station next to the apartment and kindly showed us around the area. He recommended restaurants, bakeries and other helpful tips along the way. The apartment was small but nice, clean and met our needs for the time we were there. It was stocked with all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. Although it's on the 8th floor the view more than makes up for all the stairs. Stephen was very helpful and always available for communication if needed. We enjoyed the location; being close to major landmarks but not in the middle of a tourist area. We loved Paris and definitely would stay here again!
Stephen was a great host: the communication worked well and he gave us a tour in the neighbourhood. The aparment was small but it had everything we needed for a short stay.
I would definately recommend Stephen as a host and his little but cozy apartment in Paris - the wiew is amazing!
Stephen fue muy amable, nos encontramos en la estación y nos mostró los alrededores del lugar, y dio muy buenos tips.
El departamento está muy bien ubicado y conectado, es pequeño pero está bien equipado, tiene muy buena luz y una vista hermosa.
View was great and the neighborhood was very nice!
First time using AirBNB and everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend to a friend.

"Everyone is my better in some way. I just have to learn how."
As of November 2014 I've been to 40 countries and have stayed with so many wonderful people in those countries by using services and sites like airbnb.
I'm the sort of person who can show you all around a city, even if it's not my own. I can also stay out of your way if you just want to be the quiet guest who takes in a city on his/her own.
