About this listing
We have two bedrooms available and can also provide extra matresses for children. We offer continental breakfast and a peaceful location with super comfy beds.
We welcome visitors to enjoy the comfort of our home in the hills of Donegal, Ireland.
Our home is secluded from main road traffic and no more than three miles from the thriving town of Letterkenny in one direction, and the breathtaking beauty of Glenveagh National Park in the other. A short drive away from coastal walks and glorious landscapes on the door step make our Donegal home not just a stop off but a real retreat location.
Our home although built recently, has all the modern conveniences you would expect, and has some traditional features sourced from reclaimed materials and the underfloor heating gives it a modern twist which offers warm home comfort against the inevitable winter chill. Summer or Winter Donegal can become an inviting location for a holiday.

Sarah is a lovely person and she has a good taste of music =).
We had a great breakfast with organic food and a good chat.
The house is really amazing.
We were the first brazilian guests and we are delighted!!
I might recommend it!!
I really enjoyed my stay. Felt extremely welcomed and it was very homely. Sarah is a very good host and helps in anyway she can. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anybody looking for a nice calm countryside and it is only minutes from Letterkenny. I had a very happy with my stay.
Merci Sarah.
We were welcomed by Sarah and Christy- with a hot cup of tea and lots of conversation- about families and travels; the directions to the house were amazing; the view from the upstairs is peaceful- of green trees, fields - and the moon!
our room was comfy, and very peaceful-
a corner of Irish paradise.
Sarah was helpful with travel suggestions and directions
Sarah and her husband are amazing host. We felt really welcome in their house. The place is amazing and our bedroom was clean, tidy and beautiful. All things were exactly as described as in her profile. Really recommended for people who'd like to spend holiday around Letterkenny:-)
Sarah und ihr Mann waren super freundlich und sympathisch! Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bad wirklich schön :)
Sarah and Christy's place is in a quiet area with quick access to Glenveagh National Park and beautiful scenic views. We had some great chats over tea and crackers and they made me feel right at home. Highly recommend Sarah and Christy's place!

About the Host, Sarah
I am a down to earth friendly kind of person and enjoy having visitors to stay both national and international. We have opened our home to visitors from as far away as Japan, Canada, USA, South Africa, Australia also Germany, Spain, Austria and the UK. We relocated to my husbands home town of Letterkenny here in County Donegal from London, in 2001. Secluded from the main road the house sits 100 metres above sea level and looks over the treetops to the hills that spread along the horizon beyond the valley. Ten minuets by car to the centre of town and half an hour from the coast to the west and to the north the larger historical city of Derry in Northern Ireland; ensures you can enjoy both the amenities of the town, and the tranquil peace of this country location. My husband is an artist and also enjoys playing the odd tune. If you do decide to make it up to Donegal and stay with us, we hope that it will leave you with many pleasant memories.
