We offer continental breakfast and a peaceful location with super comfy beds. Home cinema in evenings and plenty of amenities in town including, pool, sauna, multi screen cinema complex, numerous places to eat, theatre, also beaches and scenery
We welcome visitors to enjoy the comfort of our home in the hills of Donegal, Ireland.
Our home is secluded from main road traffic and no more than three miles from the thriving town of Letterkenny in one direction, and the breathtaking beauty of Glenveagh National Park in the other. A short drive away from coastal walks and glorious landscapes on the door step make our Donegal home not just a stop off but a real retreat location.
Our home although built recently, has all the modern conveniences you would expect, and has some traditional features sourced from reclaimed materials and the underfloor heating gives it a modern twist which offers warm home comfort against the inevitable winter chill. Summer or Winter Donegal can become an inviting location for a holiday.
We will be happy to supply information to help you further if you wish. Sarah

I love the fresh country air the tranquillity and silence of our surroundings, the panoramic views, the country lane walks on the door step.

Our hosts are very nice and friendly, making us feel like home on our arrival. Sarah came to meet us when we couldn't find their place. It is indeed a paradise of tranquility, which is built up by our hosts themselves. The house is very clean and spacious, with great artistic decorations. We had a wonderful sleep and woke up to find ourselves surrounded by nature. Sarah is so generous and patient, giving us suggestions and everything. Thanks to her, we went to the best beach in our trip, called Tromoore (sorry for the wrong spelling) near Dunfanaghy.
It is a wonderful place to stay and I wish we could have stayed longer to appreciate the local natural beauty.
Sarah is a gracious host and her house is comfortable, spotless clean, and in a great location. I had quiet nights, excellent breakfast, and great conversation. What more could you ask for? I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Donegal.
We were felt welcomed before we arrived. An error with airbnb--due to us switching to a mobile device from our home computer--caused us to make this booking on short notice. Sarah and Christy accepted us with no problem. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay in their spacious two story home in a very peaceful country setting just minutes from Letterkenny, a very convenient jumping off point for touring. Sarah was very helpful in providing us with what we needed for breakfast and travels. We really enjoyed our conversations with them about Ireland and other mutual interests. We would stay there again in the future.
Sarah and Christie are charming. We spend a wonderful peaceful time at Letterkenny, in the heart of Donegal county. We could stay for a week ;-) Their house is a quiet place with a beautiful view on the countryside.
Sarah is a most thoughtful host. From the moment we met - at a nearby filling station (so we never had to worry about directions) to the minute we left, we enjoyed every attention, like 2 little perfumed soaps waiting for us, plenty of leaflets to help us decide what we could visit next, and last but not least: the best breakfast we've had in our trip in Ireland (fresh fruit, a large variety of cereals and toasts, good coffee, fruit juices...)! We had a beautiful and comfortable room with great views over the garden and surrounding hills. The house is nicely decorated, with art works, original fabrics, potteries... So many things to look at !
We enjoyed our conservations with Sarah and her husband and we truly regret that we had already booked a place for the following night because our stay was too short. Had we had more time, we would have loved to learn and see more of Chris's work (he is a potter).
It is such a peaceful and inspiring place that we left with the idea of redecorating our own home, new musics to listen to, and the will to come back to discover more of Donegal (at a slow pace next time!). Thank you very much for having us. M&S
We had a lovely stay with Sarah and Christy in their home. The house is located in lush green countryside and is very peaceful. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bed comfortable.
Continental breakfast everyday was a great start to the day.
We would definitely stay again.
We had a lovely stay at Sarah and her family beautiful house. They helped us going around the town of Letterkenny and had a very comfy bed set for us in the guest room. The Big bonus is the splendid view from the shower on the surrounding hills !

I am a down to earth friendly kind of person and enjoy having visitors to stay both national and international. We have opened our home to visitors from as far away as Japan, Canada, USA, South Africa, Australia also Germany, Spain, Austria and the UK. We relocated to my husbands home town of Letterkenny here in County Donegal from London, in 2001. Secluded from the main road the house sits 100 metres above sea level and looks over the treetops to the hills that spread along the horizon beyond the valley. Ten minuets by car to the centre of town and half an hour from the coast to the west and to the north the larger historical city of Derry in Northern Ireland; ensures you can enjoy both the amenities of the town, and the tranquil peace of this country location. My husband is an artist and also enjoys playing the odd tune. If you do decide to make it up to Donegal and stay with us, we hope that it will leave you with many pleasant memories.
