The space

We welcome visitors to enjoy the comfort of our home in the hills of Donegal, Ireland.

Our home is secluded from main road traffic and no more than three miles from the thriving town of Letterkenny in one direction, and the breathtaking beauty of Glenveagh National Park in the other. A short drive away from coastal walks and glorious landscapes on the door step make our Donegal home not just a stop off but a real retreat location.

Our home although built recently, has all the modern conveniences you would expect, and has some traditional features sourced from reclaimed materials and the underfloor heating gives it a modern twist which offers warm home comfort against the inevitable winter chill. Summer or Winter Donegal can become an inviting location for a holiday.

We will be happy to supply information to help you further if you wish. Sarah

Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my friend who were staying overnight. She was really flexible with breakfast in the morning, and really helpful when we were finding the place. I would not hesitate to recommend her lovely home. Thank you for a great trip Sarah!

Sarah and her husband were great hosts. Their home is a bit difficult to find, and our GPS stopped working the evening we were driving to her house, so we got lost trying to find it. Fortunately, we were able to borrow a phone to call Sarah, and even though it was getting late, she came out to meet us at a nearby gas station and lead us back to her house (thanks again, Sarah!). Their home is in a beautiful location, and our room was neat and clean. The next morning, Sarah made a delicious continental breakfast for us, and we enjoyed getting to chat with her. Highly recommend, but would suggest planning to meet Sarah and have her lead you back to the house unless you have a reliable GPS.

We spent 5 days in the home of Sarah and Cristy and it was to short! There house is very relaxing, in a beautiful quiet area but close to Letterkenny were everything is available. We spent our days with playing golf on some very beautiful courses in Letterkenny and a breathtaking linkcourse on Cruit Island. This were the cheap ones, there are so many more that we have to come back.We loved our conversations with Sarah and Cristy. It a super place to discover Donegal, every corner within reach. We are sure to come back because we haven't seen it all. And by the way the room and bed was very comfortable to :)

We had a lovely stay at Sarah's home outside Letterkenny. We were warmly welcomed by Sarah and her lovely dog Rosie. Sarah helped us find a great place for dinner and served us a lovely breakfast the next morning. Even though the location was a little far out for what we wanted it was a lovely experience overall. We wish Sarah and her family all the best! Jonny & Emily.

Thanks to airbnb for this wonderful opportunity to meet guests here in our home from all over the world. The house is secluded from the main road and sits 100 meters above sea level overlooking the tree tops and the hills beyond the valley. Ten minutes by car to the centre of town and 20 minutes to the beautiful Glenveagh National Park and the many beaches along the coast to the west and 30 minutes to the north is the walled city of Derry in Northern Ireland. We are artist and craft people who enjoy the simple life; good company, movies, good food and fresh air. Our daughter is now studying music away from home! We hope your stay here will leave you with great memories and the possibility of returning one day.
