About Rome
When you visit Rome you can admire the majestic and old buildings of the Imperial Age like the Coliseum, the Pantheon , the Paleo-Christian Basilicas , the medieval bell towers, the renaissance Campidoglio Square, the baroque fountains, the eighteenth-century steps of Trinità dei Monti (Spanish Steps) and the spectacular Trevi’s Fountain. Rome is a wonderful city with a high number of architectural jewels. This is the reason why the city center of Rome was declared Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO.

About Trastevere
Trastevere means “across the Tiber” . This medieval area is located on the west bank of the Tiber river. Part of historical centre of Rome, Trastevere is the perfect place while together with the old history you can enjoy today's Romans amusement. From the cobblestone streets to the overhanging laundry lines, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step you take in this bohemian neighborhood that is middle way from the Coliseum and the Vatican. Trastevere is an ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter's and the Vatican City are about twenty minutes away and just crossing the Tiber you get to Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona , Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti (the Spanish Steps) , the Foro Romano, and many other sights, in few minutes at all (15 to 30 minutes walk). If you want to take public transportation, the area is well served both by tram and by buses. The district becomes very lively at night as it is full of trendy bars and lots of good restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste great Italian food at reasonable prices. Trastevere is definitely one of Rome's most typical and charming quarters, being a sort of village within a city.

  • Excellent experience at Roberto home, the appartment is not so large but our expectatives have been widly covered.
Situated in the heard on trastevere, is the best place to get most of Roma monuments just walking, also the life in Trastevere is something what everybody visiting Roma must live.

  • Thanks to the roberto's apartment we really enjoyed our 4 days trip in Roma. The main advantage is his perfect location in Trastevere which is an adorable and very central neighborhood. We visited the main attractions of the city just by walking.
Moreover I really recommand this apartment because Roberto was very nice. He was waiting for us even if we arrived very late in the night and he gave the possibility to take our time and leave the apartment only in the afternoon.

  • The aparment was smaller and more outdated than I expected. The TV didn't work, but the owner was able to get it fixed. The apartment was difficult to find initially. The best thing about this apartment is the neighborhood it's located in. With the cafes and bars everywhere, it has a great, local, real feel to it. The apartment served it's purpose, after the intial shock of seeing it. After staying in nice hotels for 2 weeks, it was smaller and different from what I expected.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Roberto's apartment, which was not particularly large but held everything we needed. Location could not have been better, walking distance to most of the places we visited. Trastevere where the apartment is located, (email hidden)ly area with many bars and restaurants. It was heard nothing when we were going to sleep, because the apartment is located on a patio. All contact with Roberto worked fine, when on arrival we did not find the way, we called him, and he hastened to time to meet us. It felt good for two weary travelers!

  • The appartment was cosy and complete, in a marvelous position, right in the heart of Trastevere, with restaurants and bars around the corner, while the appartment itself was quiet. I will definately come back to this appartment and am already advising my friends to go here! Roberto was a very nice host and very helpful.

  • I stayed one week in the LEOPARD HOUSE. It was a little bit diffucult to find because the "Vicolo del Leopardo" ist a narrow street, which wasn`t in my map. Fortunately Roberto waited at a corner and saw my desperate face. The LEOPARD HOUSE had all I needed, and it was a very good place to explore Rome. I could walk to the Vatican, the Colloseum and some other interesting places. I liked Trastevere with it`s plenty of bars, restaurants and cafés. Roberto was always reachable by mail, and he gave me some good tips for using bus and tram.

  • It is a beautiful apartment welcoming, quiet, situated (email hidden)ly area (stores, restaurants, bars). The decoration is nice. The small kitchen is amply enough for the daily needs. The bedroom is pleasant. If you go to Trastevere with the bus by leaving of the airport, plan approximately 2 hours to arrive at destination!

  • We came to Rome after a 15h car trip organised at the last minute. We were 5 hours late. And Roberto was still there calling me avery 2 hors to be sure that we were ok!
He almost made the trip with us :)

The appartment is really nice and romantic. the neigbourhood as typical as possible and the places to party is 2 blocks far from the flat.
