There were some last minute changes in the travel plans and David was kind enough to be flexible. He was accommodating, the place is small but perfect for those you travel light, the locations is near a widely used metro that has all the major stops and the apartment was very clean. Also, we were able to reach him and that is quite important when you are not from the area. Thank you!
David was away when we were there, but we were promptly greeted by his representative who gave us keys and showed us around. We asked for restaurant recommendations, but she offered nothing further than to just go out the door and there were lots of restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn't find the cute cafes and bars on Canal St. Martin until the last day. Everything is as represented on the website, and after some searching, I did find reference to the restaurants, bakery, butcher shop etc. The location is excellent -- it's great to have the metro so close and we even got in on a free concert in the Place de la Republique! It is wonderful to have a quiet apartment in such a lively location.
David is an excellent host , replied very soon to emails and had let us keep our luggages way over check-out time in the apartment. The apartment is a great value for price, good location, very clean, well supplied. Excellent descriptions on its site for everything.
I can highly recommend David's apartment: it is cozy, well furnished, secure and close to transport (buses, metro etc.), dining etc.
We appreciate the small but very thoughtful features in the apartment, such as the wooden step off the shower, plethora of power points, well equipped kitchen etc.
Wireless internet was good. It's just two flight of stairs up to the apartment but a small in-building lift is also available for use (handy for our heavy luggage).
David is very prompt and pleasant in his communications, and very helpful.
We had a great staying at the appartement. We loved being in the very center of Paris in a very close proximity to the Metro, the canal Saint Martin and the Place de la République. And although we were locate very centrally we had no noise during the night!
A good location with all you need included in the appartement.
