The space
The guest suite includes two generously sized bedrooms with high ceilings. Each bedroom has a love seat, luggage rack and closet. The bathroom also has high ceilings and a shower and bathtub. The orange room has a bistro table with two chairs (on covered deck during summer) and there are two additional chairs on the covered seating area just outside the orange room. There is also a small writing desk. There is no living room or communal room (other than the outdoor deck spaces). The guest annex is surrounded by a landscaped garden and the shared waterfront deck is easily accessible via a path on east side of the house.

If you are brave enough to swim, there is an outdoor shower with warm water on the east side of the property.

The deck provides 180 degree views from Mt. Baker to the San Juans. On clear winter days, you can see all the way to the snow-capped Canadian Coastal Range.

A mini fridge, kettle (instant hot water), individual french press coffee pots inside. There is also a kitchen cart on the covered walkway just outside the unit with an induction hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. In addition there's an outdoor fireplace on the waterside deck w/ stainless grill (wood provided), as well as a separate stainless steel Weber propane BBQ with handy side burner.

There is no kitchen access, but there is an outdoor prep station with cold water sink and concrete counters on the deck. Marine cooler also provided on deck for seafood. (Bring your own ice if you plan to use and/or ask the local fisheries - Blau's Oysters or Taylor Shellfish - to pack what you buy on ice.)

If you plan on using the grill, please let host know ahead of time to make sure it's set up, propane is stocked, and it's ready for use upon arrival. (No food items provided, just grill, propane, spatula, tongs, and basic silverware for 4. Please bring anything else you might need.)

For extended stays, access can be arranged to a larger fridge as well as washer and dryer.
