Located on Church and Reade Street, this artist’s work and living space is located in the heart of Tribeca in lower Manhattan. As one of New York City’s most prominent neighborhoods, Tribeca is known for its selection of restaurants, including Nobu, Bouley and Mr. Chow’s. With local residents including many in the entertainment industry, Tribeca is one of the highest celebrity populated neighborhoods in Manhattan. Bustling with sophistication during the day, both parks and water access are within walking distance and Tribeca is just minutes away from the Financial District, the South Street Seaport and SoHo. Local trains include the A, B, C, N, R, Q, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, all within two blocks of this conveniently located loft as well as the Path train to New Jersey. Many super markets, including Whole Foods market, fine delis, bakeries and street farm stands are all located within 2-3 blocks of the loft.
As the loft is currently used as a home and photo/film/design production studio, there is equipment visible. The loft may not be used for get-togethers or small parties, as the equipment in there is very expensive.
The loft is on the second floor and has a freight elevator which operates Monday – Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (it has an operator who also acts as a doorman).
The cozy lofted bedroom, accessed by small stairs, is spacious but not high enough for most to walk around in. There is a large bathroom, a washer and dryer, a full kitchen with an espresso machine and everything in the loft is mobile and can be moved around except the corner office section.

Rad was a gracious host and helpful host. The area was great and the housing was spacious. His loft is located in a convenient location and is accessible to any part of the city.
I stayed here with my wife and two teenage children. Never met Rad but seemed like a cool guy. Great place, clean, spacious, comfortably accommodates 4, good location. The place was what we expected from the pictures and the description, which was nice. The neighbour Jill let us in and was helpful. Elevator service is limited and there were noisy renovations taking place on the building's stairs while we were staying there, but that was a one-off. Overall worth it.
We really enjoyed this Tribeca loft. Rad was very helpful with quick responses to questions, attention to details, and flexibility. He let us drop off luggage early so we could keep a pre-scheduled appointment and even was at the door to meet us in the pouring rain! The apt was very clean and comfortable. The air mattress was set up and we had plenty of sheets, towels, hot water, etc. Two of us slept in the loft which we thought was great, but it's cozy and the stairs could be a little challenging for some. The location is very good with subway stops very nearby and many restaurants and shops in the area. Also,we were able to park a car in the neighborhood all weekend -- a real bonus! We'd stay again. Thanks, Rad!
While we didn't get to meet Rad in person, his wonderful neighbor Jill met us and made sure we were all settled in with all the information we needed. She was very knowledgable about the area and was able to give us some wonderful tips on some great restaurants nearby. Rad's place was a really great place to stay for us. Communication was quick and seamless. He was very organized, giving us all the information we needed in a very timely manner. The TriBeCa area is lovely, and so are Rad and Jill. We would definitely stay there again!
This was my first time using airbnb and Rad's loft was an excellent first time experience! Although Rad was out of town he was easy to communicate with and everything went off without a hitch. His neighbor Jill was there to let us in at the agreed time and even took us around the loft explaining little details. The loft was great - very spacious, clean and perfectly located (great view of the new world trade center too).
This was my 12 year old son's first trip to NY and the thing he was most impressed with was Rad's loft! We'll definitely be back.

Easy communicating with Rad and great place. The bed is amazing! Location easy and convenient with several subways really close by.
We had a great week in Rad's apartment. The location is really good, close to several subway lines and everything you could need. The apartment was very clean and having internet access was so useful. All the arrangements went very smoothly. Although we didn't meet Rad, he responded to all communications very quickly and his neighbour Jill, who let us in, was helpful and charming. While it wasn't a problem for us, older/less able-bodied guests might find access to the mezzanine bedroom a bit of a challenge. My 14 year old son slept there and loved it. We slept on the inflatable mattress downstairs which was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the place to others and would love to stay again.
Rad was flexible about check out time which was much appreciated.

I'm an Artist primarily doing film, photography and design work. I love to travel almost any where in the world as much as possible, which is one of one of my favorite things to do in my life.
I'v always liked to be a host and alway enjoyed having guests staying with me or at my place. Giving people this experience has always brought joy to me possibly because I love it when others have something available for me. I appreciate there being some kind of accommodations available as that is what makes travel possible and worth while, and the better the stay the better the experience.
