Good location. Good view. Well appointed apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine and dryer. But no wi-fi, which is not too bad sometimes.
Good instructions re key pickup, easy to follow driving directions and once we found the information file(it was on top of kitchen shelving) all very straightforward. Very accurate description, million dollar view for sure and great place to watch all the activity on the lake or just daydream as the landscape changes in the light. Good(peaceful) location. it's near to Queenstown without being in the thick of it, having a car was good as we could drive to a street on a lower level and park and walk into town. It's quite a hike uphill otherwise!
Everything was fantastic at Brian's place.
We enjoyed the amazing view from the lounge and the place was just 10mins walk from the town. Highly recommended!!!
Great views and close to town. Everything you need is there. The place was clean and easy to find with instructions provided by the owner.
Easy key pickup - a note on the outside of envelope explaining their were directions to the home would have been helpful as we did not open envelope till at the Home and had minor struggle to find. Easy walk to town, challenging walk back home as it is uphill and steep on last street. Be prepared to get in shape. Interior is very functional but not welcoming or warm. Unfortunately no free wifi . All in all a good stay - appreciated the washing machine and dryer - not often you find a dryer. And the view is terrific!
We enjoyed our stay at 4/10 Glasgow Street, it was good value for our family of four. As advertized, the view was great, as was the weather while we were there. So much to do in Queenstown and the location was quite central for all of these activities. It was great to have full laundry facilities when coming off the Routeburn.
Brian was easy to communicate with and his place was great. Better than the photos! Living space was quite a bit bigger than we expected. Large windows made for a bright, sunny space and spectacular views. Living space was quite a bit bigger than we expected. Decor was simple but functional and it worked really well for us (2 adults, 4 year old and a 6 year old). Only a short work to central Queenstown but make sure your legs don't mind hills. It's a steep one! Don't get the view without it though .... Overall excellent value for money.
