Interaction with Guests
I try to be available greet all guests when they arrive, but often that's not possible. Usually I am present during their stay, and able to answer questions, help with specific needs, and can always be reached by text messaging. I try to take each new long-term guest out for dinner at favorite don't-miss-it-while-you-are here meal.
My neighborhood is elegant, filled with stately homes on winding roads. Million-dollar homes dot the community along with manicured landscaping, mature trees, and parks. You'll be impressed by Hoover, ranked as one of the top 30 places to live in the United States. (website hidden)_wall_st_website_ranks_hoov.html

We had an amazing stay at Donna's! Unfortunately, she was not there for us to meet, but she made it incredibly easy to settle in, and even from afar, helped us to feel welcome. The apartment is super cozy, and the back yard itself is a vacation destination! We spent hours relaxing in the back by the flowing stream, where the sounds of nature are the only things to be heard besides the occasional reminder that there are actually neighbors nearby. A very nice place to get away and relax.
We made the most of the place and the location. I had a great workout the morning it rained. The weights and treadmill got out to good use. I sat in the garden to read and stretch on the other gorgeous mornings. We also took 2 trips to the Oak Mountain Park, just 15 minutes away. The park offers miles of hiking, running and biking trails.
The apartment was available early (9 am) when I arrived and we felt like it was our own place for 3 days. I love Alabama.
We had a great stay at Donna's would recommend for anyone travelling through Birmingham. Her place was clean and in a beautiful, safe neighborhood.
This property is in a beautiful, exclusive gated community. It is a basement apartment so not for anyone who has to have a lot of natural light but it is quiet, private, well equipped, safe and comfortable. The house is on a gorgeous lot and the apartment has has own driveway. Donna and her family are super nice.
My girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing stay! Though Donna was out of town she was quick to respond to texts and very accommodating. The apartment is HUGE, comfortably furnished, and being able to do laundry before we left made unpacking when I arrived home a breeze. My favorite amenities were the babbling brook in the backyard, the laundry facilities, and being only five minutes away from Jim N Nick's Barbeque. :)
There is not much to say: Donna is just a great host! The apartment is in a safe, nice and quiet neighborhood in a good distance to Birmingham. Donna helps you whenever she can. I would definitely stay again in this apartment if I go back to Birmingham!
I loved staying at Donna's place! Her home is beautiful and very cozy. She was also very helpful and allowed me to extend my stay. I would highly recommend staying with her when visiting Birmingham!

I welcome visitors, and look forward to meeting you. A local fill-in reporter and national radio reporter, I am knowledgable about the area. I've lived here for 20 years! I will do whatever I can to make your stay fun and comfortable. I love meeting new people. The space I'm offering to rent is not just private, elegant and comfortable, it's also affordable. Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy the comfort of a home?
