This lovely apartment is situated on the Fellside overlooking Penrith. It's a quiet area and there is normally plenty of parking available on the street outside. The apartment is cosy yet spacious being part of a large Victorian house. Come and Stay!
Lovely 1 double bedroom apartment with double sofa bed in lounge area. So will sleep 2 people comfortably and up to 4 persons if you so wish! However, please be aware that the apartment is open plan so the kitchen/dining/lounge areas are connected (via the stairs) to the bedroom area with the shower room/WC (which is not "open-plan" and does have a door) being accessed from the upstairs bedroom area. So now you know exactly what you're getting! There is a £10 fee for extra bedding if you require it which you can pay on arrival.
Towels are not included so you will need to bring your own.
The stairs between floors are wood and can be slippery in socked or stockinged feet, please take extra care when using these stairs. Children should be supervised on the stairs. (This property is probably not suitable for those with very young children unless you can guarantee that they cannot use the stairs independently.)
Bookings spanning a weekend night (Fri, Sat or Sun) are normally a minimum of 2 nights but please contact us to discuss options as we might be able to accommodate alternative arrangements.
Pets are allowed subject to a small separate charge to cover extra cleaning - please contact us to discuss.

I stayed at Martin and Jo's house with 3 of my friends and we were all really impressed with the house. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the house is warm. Martin and Jo were really helpful and prompt in responding to any queries we had. The house is in a really good location- about a 5 minute drive to the supermarket and just under 20 minutes to drive to Ullswater. The centre of Penrith is nearby as well.
Overall a really enjoyable stay. Thanks Martin and Jo.

We're based in the Lake District but have lived in many places around the UK and elsewhere in the (website hidden) is a maxillofacial surgeon who, like Martin, loves to travel. Martin has two grown up children and is a Paediatric Physiotherapist, engineer and computer consultant...
We both enjoy skiing, sailing, kitesurfing, paragliding, diving, mountain-biking, hiking and being outdoors.
We enjoy Airbnbing because, when we can't travel ourselves "travelling comes to us" in the form of interesting guests...
