This idyllic 6 BR, 6 1/2 BA Montgomery County farmhouse sits on a creekside and features great views from the large screened porch. It is a secluded getaway that offers ample space for families and other large groups to spend time together.
The space
As you enter through the historic refurbished doors from the Montgomery County courthouse, you know you have come into a special space. The farmhouse was completed in 2002 and designed by a family matriarch who wanted a gathering place for her growing family. It is traditionally furnished, has hardwood and tile floors throughout and includes modern conveniences. On the first floor there is a large living room with a wood burning fireplace, an English pub table and a TV. There is also an open kitchen and dining area, a large bedroom with full bath, utility room with washer & dryer, and a half bath. In the basement there is another gathering area with a TV, card table and ping pong table, in addition to a bedroom and bathroom. Four bedrooms, each with separate bath, are located upstairs.
The wrap around porch is a great place to watch the cows graze or to listen to the creek. It is everyone’s favorite place to sip drinks, eat meals, chat with friends and family or just read a book. There are four wrought iron tables with chairs on the porch so it’s a perfect place to entertain large groups.
Each of the six large bedrooms has a full bath attached. Room configurations are detailed below:

Basement bedroom - One queen bed
Second floor bedroom #1 - Two standard twin beds, one XL twin, one queen bed
Second floor bedroom #2 - Two XL twin beds, one standard twin, one crib
Second floor bedroom #3 - One king bed, one XL twin bed

Approximately 45 minutes from downtown Nashville and about 12 miles from downtown Clarksville, this quiet retreat situated on seven acres is a great location for gatherings.

Lives in Nashville, Tennessee
Hosting is a relatively new experience for us, but after enjoying the experience of being guests in other locations, we decided to share our farmhouse with families and larger groups who are looking for a gathering place.
We love to travel and enjoy new experiences. While I enjoy big hotels, it is also fun to stay in places with individual personality. Some of our favorite travel experiences have been staying in private homes in Europe and the US. We love getting to know an area and enjoying local restaurants and attractions. We also like to take advantage of whatever our destination has to offer whether it be hiking, golf, fishing, or theatre, museums, shopping, etc.
