Come relax in my cozy and highly adorable first floor 1-BR apartment in Cobble Hill, the greatest neighborhood in Brooklyn. The apartment is located on a tree-lined street near everything including Manhattan. Convenient, cozy and cute! Come on over!
This cozy, beautiful apartment has been featured on design blogs and in The New York Times. It's comfortable and perfect for a weekend getaway in the city. Nestled in the best neighborhood in Brooklyn, you can walk to boutiques, restaurants, movie theaters, book stores and more. The city is only a few stops away via the F line two blocks from the apartment. And the apartment is on the ground floor so carrying packages home after a day of shopping is a breeze.
Wi-fi, Netflix, Hulu and Roku are available. Clean towels and sheets for each guest. Tea and a French Press for coffee, too!
Interaction with Guests
I will personally hand you the key and show you around my home and then let you settle in. I am always available via text or phone call in case you need me.
Cobble Hill is a real treasure. I love walking up and down Court Street poking into clothing and antique stores. 3 blocks away is the best independent book store: Book Court, 4 blocks the other way is the movie theater and the greatest place for hot chocolate is next door: The Chocolate Room. Brooklyn Bridge is within walking distance as is Brooklyn Bridge Park and The Promenade. In any season, this neighborhood is a treat and you will feel relaxed and at ease hopping from street to street.
The F and G train at Bergen Street (only 3 stops into Manhattan) are two blocks away. Buses run down Court Street and Smith Street regularly. There is fairly regular free street parking on my block and within the neighborhood. I suggest taking a taxi from the airport but, if you're up for the adventure, you can take the AirTrain to the A and switch to the F to get to Bergen (from JFK airport).
Other Things to Note
I have one real Full-size bed in the bedroom and one Full-size inflatable air bed available in the living room. The bathroom has a full tub and shower with very nice water pressure.
This is a no smoking apartment. No extra guests (even if they're just "stopping by"), no loud music or parties, no drugs, no pets.
Jeni was a great host. Very flexible with the arrival and departure times. The flat is super nice and clean and the area is perfect. Cobble hill has lots of cute shops, good restaurant and the best breakfast ever at cafe luluc.
I would definitely stay here again.
Jeni was a wonderful host. She was flexible with both arrival and checkout and was communicative throughout the process of booking and checking in. Plus, she was able to accommodate me at the last minute, which I appreciated very much.
Her apartment is in one of my absolute favorite locations in Brooklyn, in the heart of Cobble Hill. The location for me could not be more perfect. Her apartment is also gorgeous and extremely comfortable. I want to move in!
Jeni was a lovely host. She was very proactive in communicating all the necessary information/logistics to make our stay seamless. Her apartment is in the ideal location in Brooklyn, with too many nearby boutiques, bookstores, coffee shops, and restaurants to count. It is also very conveniently located near the subway. Also just ~ 2 miles from Liberty warehouse (popular wedding venue), so the perfect location for out-of-town wedding guests. The apartment is very clean and so charmingly decorated. We very much enjoyed our stay.
This was our first Airbnb experience, and we were very pleased! The apartment is located in an awesome neighborhood, with all the conveniences we could hope for within walking distances, including great restaurants, shopping, strolling and subway access. The apartment itself is small, but clean, bright, cheerfully decorated and very well organized for the space. The big windows let in a lot of light, but also street noise (however, it's not a very busy street - mostly we heard people chatting outside the window as the walked past and the usual din of street traffic that is to be expected in the City). The bedroom, however, is protected from street noise by a door, and is very dark - perfect for sleeping. Jeni made sure that the check-in process was easy and convenient given her absence, and checked in each day via texts. She also provided great suggestions for dining and shopping excursions, which was really helpful. We'd stay here again without a doubt!
Great location, nearly in the heart of Brooklyn. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. When I showed up they were shooting a Snapple commercial directly across the street.
A great way to get around is to rent a citi-bike for the day. They have stations all over Brooklyn and Manhattan. Definitely make sure to bike across the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges for the best views of the city!
Loved this place! Exactly as described, very cozy and comfortable, and Jeni's was a fantastic host. Great neighborhood for dining...try Brucie's!
Jenny was a delightful host. She was available to let us in at the appointed time and showed us around her place. Her apartment had fresh cut flowers on the table and fresh coffee for us to use. Her apartment was meticulously clean and organized. It was a lovely and cozy place to stay while visiting our son in Brooklyn. The neighborhood was great as well. Jenny gave us a recommendation for a Thai restaurant in the neighborhood that was fabulous. We will definitely stay there again if we can on our next visit.
