We were very well welcomed by our hosts. The house is great, accomodation est very good, well equiped and pleasant to leave in. Very good collection of DVD's, games and books. But the best thing, after Conny and Brian kindness, is the sea view. Unfortunately weather was not good for us but we could admire big waves and feel strong winds.
Brian and his wife Connie were fantastic hosts. They were knowledgeable about the area (Brian grew up there), and free with their information. They even took us to the pub next door and had a drink with us and introduced us to some of their friends.
The apartment is very rustic. It's more like a high-end cabin than a true house in experience, but it's clean and comfortable. There were some problems with the hot water, but Brian was very responsive and empathetic.
That said, the hot water came in and out, and the beds were not the most comfortable. If you are a sensitive sleeper, this might not be the place for you.
Sorry to hear that you weren't totally satisfied with the apartment. Since we have never encountered a problem with the hot water or the beds over the last couple of years before, we will certainly take your comments on board to seek improvement, as it is important to us to have satisfied guests.
Great friendly hosts and great place to stay! Spent a lovely relaxing weekend at this place. Great to exploring the surrounding area, having a walk on the beach and a quiet pint in the pub right next door. Would definitely stay there again!
Conny and Brian were great hosts who made us feel welcome from the start. They provided us wih wetsuits and plenty of information about the area, they have a great sense of hospitality. The apartement we stayed in is lovely and abosulutely catered for all our needs. The view from the front porch is stunning. The area is great for family holidays and quit holidays. Tons of small beaches nearly to ourselves!!! Anytime again!
We just spent a week in one of Brian & Connie's strand apartments. We had a very comfortable and spacious apartment which was by far the best equipped we've ever rented. They even laid on tea bags and cooking oil, it really was a great home from home! The sea is on your doorstep and you can enjoy its view from your own sunroom and the kitchen. Our toddler was also well catered for with toys, games and colouring gear. There are also swings and footballs in the garden. Brian and Connie are very welcoming and gracious hosts, they had a great selection of movies for nights in and we were even treated to some freshly caught, barbecued mackerel on our last night! We would love to visit again and have no hesitation in recommending their apartments. Very happy customers! :D
