Modern eco-friendly retreat perfect year-round! This salt-box cottage is an open concept 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom filled with natural light. Huge yard with a pool house with dining table and grill, patio with lounge chairs, outdoor shower, and private pool (pool open May 15 - October 15).
Located perfectly for Rehoboth Beach or Dewey Beach visitors. It is a 20 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Rehoboth Ave or to the beach. Three parking spots, beach items, and all amenities included.
The space
We fell in love the second we saw this home and hope you will too. Every detail/amenity has been thought of to make your stay perfect! Just open the door and start your vacation. The home is built and furnished to host six guests very comfortably.
Outside:
There are three parking spots in a gravel lot in the front. There is a sunny front yard that leads to the main entry to the house. To the right is the gated private pool, access to the pool house and a shady back yard.
The pool area has six lounge chairs on a 400sqft deck for your enjoyment and direct sun access most of the day. Around the corner in the backyard there is a large rainforest outdoor shower, horseshoe pit, and deck.
The 300sqft screened-in pool house has a dining room table for six, BBQ grill, comfy couch for cocktail hour or an afternoon nap, and has light fixtures so it can be enjoyed after dark.
Dip into the large pool during season (at least Memorial Day to Labor Day) with a stepped entry and deep end.
Inside:
When you enter the house there is a mud room perfect for storing your beach items and shoes. This is where you will find the beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella we have provided for your use.
Take one step up into the living the room where you will find a large flat screen television mounted over the electronic fireplace. Turn on your favorite tunes via the Sonos system that is wired throughout the property! WiFi is also available inside of the house. The TV includes an AppleTV with active subscriptions to YouTubeTV, Netflix, Max, Peacock, Disney Plus, and Hulu to keep you entertained during the occasional rainy day or quiet night in. Make yourself comfortable on the brand new couch and turn right to see out the wall-to-wall floor to ceiling windows and doors that look out into the pool area.
To the left of the living room is the open concept gourmet kitchen with a large wooden block island and a huge barn sink. Designer grade stainless steel appliances include a refrigerator, gas range/stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and more. Plenty of plates, cups, silverware, and cooking essentials (knives, cookware, utensils) are included to be able to entertain a group of eight comfortably.
There is a large round dining room table that seats 6 off the kitchen on one side and a breakfast nook with a similar round table that seats 4 on the other side.
As you walk past the kitchen you will find the two downstairs bedrooms. Both have queen mattresses and sheets are cleaned and changed for each guest. Towels and bathroom amenities are also provided. One of the rooms has a washer and dryer in it for your use. Downstairs there is also a beautiful full bathroom with shower/tub combination, marble counter tops, and subway tile.
Up the stairs to the primary bedroom which is an open loft concept with angled ceilings. The skylights provide ample natural light. There is a queen bed, small sitting area, and futon the converts into a double size bed. The best part about this room is the oversized bathroom! The bathroom includes a large marble vanity and a huge walk-in double shower with a window.
Guest access
Make yourself at home! There is only one locked hallway closet downstairs that we keep some possessions in. Please note that unfortunately the hot tub is locked and not for your guest use due to insurance requirements.
The home, inside and out, is otherwise here for your enjoyment and comfort during your stay.
We only ask that you have a great time and treat it like you would your own home. This ensures we can keep the place up for future rentals!
Other things to note
The kitchen island is a gorgeous wood surface that we absolutely love and want to enjoy for years to come! Help us make that happen by not using it as a cutting board. We have provided both wood and plastic cutting boards for your use.
One parking pass for Rehoboth Beach is included for use during your stay.
Save on taxes - 1 block out of Rehoboth Beach city proper means you SAVE 6% in taxes!
