Wayan was a wonderful host, very happy to talk. He is a wonderful cook and gave us an amazing breakfast-- our best of our two-week vacation. He is working on expanding his place himself, very admirable work and things are looking quite good. We look forward to seeing how it all turns out the next time we come back. The place is absolutely beautiful and very nicely arranged.
I stayed at Wayan's place for three nights but I liked it so much I decided to stay for one more! The room is great, a good bed and an amazing bathroom/warm shower. Wayan is a perfect host. He is a great cook and he likes to teach you! I really enjoyed his breakfast, cakes and curry's! wayan showed me beautiful ricefields, temples and was very helpfull.
Thank you for a great time in Ubud and I hope I can come back sometime!
We stayed at Wayan's place for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and Wayan made us feel at home. He was kind enough to take us on a day tour around Ubud to show us the temples, rice terraces and coffee plantation. We were lucky enough to sit in on one of the ceremonies at the temple - this was an interesting experience as we got to learn more about the Balinese culture. Wayan is very helpful, informative and knowledgeable - we learned a lot from him during our stay. Our Ubud experience would not have been the same had we not stayed with Wayan an his family. He goes out of his way to transport you and pick you up from wherever you want to go - this saves you the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers. If you have any issues or concerns, Wayan is very accommodating and will do his best to resolve them. Overall, we had a very positive and pleasant stay at Wayan's guesthouse. I highly recommend this place! Thank you Wayan for a fantastic time!
Wayan perfect and understanding host.extremely welcoming..the room within family compound beautiful clean and so enjoyed outdoor shower! To wake up hearing waterfall and neighbour birds chooks etc a delight! Wayan drove me everywhere.. in short time in Ubud..area..places i NEVER would have found travelling alone..After my last visit 41 years ago it was a delight to see alittle of Bali as i remember. thank you to the PERFECT Hst ..WAYAN..
Wayan was every friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed here and safe staying here. It is better to have white light, to me it is quite dark at night.
Wayan is a very great host. He is ready to help you with anything you need. If you are looking for cooking class, he can teach you too! He even introduced us to his next of a kin, that turns out is a Yoga Guru which gave the highlight of our trip to Ubud. We also had very interesting conversation during breakfast that gives us a really proud perspective to be able to know Wayan in Bali.
The house itself is clean, homey and surprisingly no mosquitoes. You can still find ants in the bathroom, however given the bathroom is open air, i think is bearable. My favorite part of the house is actually the bathroom where it has open air and the shower room interior is just industrial chic :) and the most interesting thing is Wayan built the guesthouse with his own bare hands
Thank you Wayan & Family to accept us at your home during our short stay. We definitely consider to come back if we are going to Ubud again. And we will wait to comeback until the Yoga Studio is finished :)
