Our small well equipped apartment is situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside near Florence.
The location is perfect for people that love to be in a calm and natural area but not too far from the main art cities that offers our region.
It's a perfect base for hiking and discovering our country also through local food and lovely nature.
We are surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and Mediterranean copse.
We can recommend fine cozy restaurants and wineries not far from our apartment.
For example "la Cantina di Toia" a restaurant situated in the birth house of Leonardo da Vinci's grandmother (5 km) and "la Tenuta di Capezzana" a famous winery where you can taste and buy Chianti wine (1km).
Who is interested in history or archeology will find several interesting places in the surrounding hills like Medicean Villas, Etruscan necropolis and acropolis.
Our location is ideal to reach the most important Tuscan cities of artistic interest: Florence (20 km), Prato (12 km), Pistoia (18 km), Lucca (60 km), San Gimignano (60 km), Siena (90 km).
Apart those famous cities there are several suggestive little villages around: Vinci the birth city of Leonardo da Vinci with an interesting museum about his inventions (20 km), Artimino (10 km), Fiesole (28 km), Barberino val d'Elsa (45 km), etc. etc.
The nearest airport is at Florence (20 km).
The nearest supermarket, ATM, post office, self service laundry, gelateria, pizzeria and the main bus stop to Florence is within a radius of 1 km.
The apartment has a bathroom with shower, a small kitchen and a double bed.
It's possible to have 2 additional beds on request.

Andrea & Yiannis
Andrea was a kind and generous host whose thoughtfully arranged apartment afforded us our privacy across the week that we stayed. The first night, Andrea have us pieces of scrumptious homemade cake - it disappeared in seconds!
The apartment is spacious for two, all be it essentially one room. We had everything we needed with the fully equipped kitchen to cater for ourselves. The heating kept us cosy over night as the days we were there were a bit fresh.
Seano is an agreeable little town offering an authentic stay in Tuscany away from the tourist hotspots, but fortunately only 20km for beautiful Florence. I recommend a car, ideally, for visiting if you are using this spot as a base for city sights, though by boyfriend and I were perfectly fine without. We are great walkers and would trek the 1.5k to the bus stop in day and night to catch the reliable public transport. Pedestrian pathways are a rarity, though, so be cautious.
Being in the Tuscan countryside we enjoyed some beautiful local walks and even hiked up to Carmignano for a couple of meals. Andrea kindly loaned us some bikes to adventure further again, which was a fantastic experience.
Andrea supported us by dropping us at the local laundromat to do our washing and have us lifts here and there to the bus stop. We are particularly apologetic for getting our meeting point incorrect on arrival which kept Andrea fruitlessly waiting, albeit patiently. Thank you for making us welcome in your home, Andrea. Ciao!
This stay was absolutely perfect! We didn't meet Mauro but Andrea was an extremely obliging host and made us very welcome, right from the start and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The flat is absolutely stunning in an even more stunning location. We made friends with the locals and the butcher even gave us a free bottle of wine :) We bused into Florence twice and used our other days to explore the surrounding area. If you are looking for a real experience of Tuscany we couldn't recommend highly enough staying here. On our final night, Andrea and her son invited us into their home to share in their Halloween celebrations. We had an amazing meal and made some great friends! Hope to have the pleasure of staying here again. THANK YOU both, Tim and Kate.
Amazing place! So homely, very helpful- will be back to stay again next year!
The apartment was extremely clean and cosy. Mauro´s son was really helpful and nice with us.
A place to recommend!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. In fact I think this area would've been better than staying right in Florence. Great accommodation especially if you have a car. Mauro's son was there to welcome us and was helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again if we ever came back to Florence. Really nice and comfortable set up. Many thanks!
) grazie mille !
A great place in the countryside, we had a wonderful time and the apartment was lovely. Great kitchen and bathroom, we made an excellent meal from the fresh produce in Florence.
Kind and considerate hosts, very clean and nice apartment, pleasant recreation facilities. Thank you!
We didn't meet Mauro, as he was away during our stay, but his wife Andrea and her son Yiannis were excellent hosts. Andrea picked us up from the bus stop and helped us with our bags, and loaned us two bicycles during our stay which was appreciated. They had everything ready for us and also printed out a copy of the bus timetable.
It is worth mentioning that the apartment is quite far from Florence; having a car is definitely recommended if you plan to stay here, although we managed just fine without one. Unfortunately we lost alot of time traveling (it takes around 45 minutes to get to Florence). Return trip is 5 euros per person.
The apartment itself was comfortable, clean, had a big bed, a really good shower, and the surrounding area offered great Tuscan views.
We would recommend this apartment :)
