Interaction with Guests
Please don't forget, this is a shared studio, we share the whole area. I'd be happy to chat up, but if you are not so communicative, no problem, I read a book or write on my laptop. I work every day from 8am till 5pm, in the evening I cook, read or take a walk. I go to sleep around 11pm.
3 minutes walk from the studio:
The Caldera, one of the world's most famous sunset-view places. Prehistoric Museum, Archeological Museum. Many kinds of restaurants, bars, coffee shops. Small grocery, pharmacy, Central Clinic. Art, souvenir and fashion shops.
5 minutes walk: Post Office, Supermarket, Gym.
The nearest beach is 15 minutes by bus.
The central bus station is 3 minutes walk, transportation to all the villages, port and airport. Luggage storage is 2 minutes far, in case you arrive too early and want to walk around. You can rent a motorbike, quad bike or a car right on the corner.

Very centrally located - a great base to explore the island from. Renata collected me from the bus station and was an excellent hostess.
Renata is a nice and friendly host, she makes delicious smoothie! And the room is really cozy and cool in summer, great place to stay in Fira.
Renata was kind and considerate my entire stay. She is easy to talk with and gave me good suggestions for where to visit. Her flat is secure and very close to the centre of town.
Renata is simply a great, friendly and genuine person! I loved stayed in her studio, which is very nice, super clean, with all conforts and in a great location close to everything in town (bus station, centre of Thira, etc). I actually felt like being in a friend house, we went out for dinner and spent lots of time talking, I think without Renata my experience of Santorini would not have been so great, i would love to come back and staying again with Renata and hope she will come visit me in Rome! :)
I will say the same as the first time. Renata's place is super comfortable!! In my first review about her place you can find more details!!!
I was SO comfortable at Renata´s and Santorini is such a lovely place that i decided to stay 10 more days in the island. The apartment is very comfortable in a super convenient location if you want to get to know the entire island and don t want to rent a car (crazy traffic!!!) Being only 100 m from Fira central square means you have EVERYTHING you may need just a few steps away including banks, bus station, tour operators, restaurants along with glamorous shopping and nightlife. The good thing is that (may be thanks to the zig-zagging urbanization of the block where the apartment is settled) the apartment itself and the houses around are all very VERY silent. Extra-bonus: best Fira spot for enjoying the sunset is just 300m away. Renata is very welcoming, respectful and a very sweet person. Not to mention she explained me how to get to the best spots, when to do it, when to avoid it, etc. Thank you Renata!!
Renata was very kind and helpful! She made me dinner the first night which was unexpected and very delicious! She also told me about many interesting things I could do on the island. A great place to stay!
I’m Hungarian, 44yo, have been living in Greece for 9 years. I'm living the typical life of the Greek season worker, working 7 months in tourism. Some seasons I've been a salesclerk in an art gallery, other years I've had a hotel receptionist job. I've decided to host people, have "roommates", to make summer more cheerful and colorful. I've met amazing people, made friends and I’m sure airbnb will keep bringing me lifetime experiences.
I'm an open and easygoing person. Love traveling, discovering new places and I’d be happy to share stories with my fellow travelers. I’ve lived in Israel – volunteered in a kibbutz – and in the US too. I do a lot of hiking and love photography. I feel really lucky to have a job in this wonderful island and I’m offering you my help to discover Santorini and enjoy your visit to the fullest.
