Quiet get-away 4 Mi. from the Baltimore harbor. The house is clean and peaceful. There are three bedrooms: 2 with queen-size beds and 1 with a full-size bed. Families are welcome, and there is plenty of driveway parking. The house is colorful, comfortable and cozy with a vintage flair. It also has a lot of character (built in 1924) and is lovingly cared for. There is radiator hearing and central AC (upstairs) with a cooling mini-split (downstairs). 2 of the bedrooms have desk / workspaces, and there is a printer on the desk in master bedroom. It's a great place to relax, get work done, or use as a hub while visiting the sights in the Baltimore / DC area!
There is one full bathroom upstairs (with tub / shower) next to the 3 bedrooms, and one (newly renovated) full bathroom (with shower) in the basement. There is a Laundry room in the basement.
Guests have access to the entire house: 3 bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, living room, basement area, bathrooms, laundry room, backyard and porch areas.

Arcadia / Lauraville is a GREAT residential neighborhood within the city of Baltimore. On the Lauraville strip (Harford Road) there are great local shops and coffeehouses along with a Safeway grocer all within walking distance. There is a park behind the house that is wonderful for jogging or just taking a stroll. There is also a lake with a running / biking circuit only .75 miles away. It's super quiet here and relaxing.
There is PLENTY of parking here- in the driveway and on the street.
The house is about 4 miles from downtown Baltimore and within walking distance (under 10 minutes) is a Safeway grocer, cafes, post office, and shops in the Lauraville neighborhood.
The house is less than a 10 minute walk to the bus stops. Depending on where you're going, it can be a great way to get around town. Once you are at the train station, there is a free bus (The Charm City Circulator) which is convenient and runs every 10 minutes.
If you prefer to take drive or take a cab/uber, you will be roughly 15 minutes from all downtown /neighborhood attractions: Fells Point, Hampden, Federal Hill and even Towson.
There are two bus stops available near the house (each a 5 min. walk). Getting downtown will take about 45 min. by bus. The number 19 is direct to the convention center. I'm only 4 miles from downtown, and by car it will take you between 10 - 20 minutes depending where you are going.
From the airport, you can either rent a car, take the MARC train to Penn Station (then get a cab / bus) or take the Light Rail to North Avenue (and call for a cab/uber to meet you).
Other things to note
During the winter months, the heat has a max setting of 70º. When using the AC, the max setting is 76º. If you'd like to put it higher or lower, please let me know, but there will be a $15/ day charge.
Children: if you have children, please keep in mind that my house is full of antiques and breakables. You may need to clear some things out of reach of little fingers! Also, in general, please thouroughly clean up after your child (couch/carpet/walls).
Preferred check in is at 4 p.m. / out at 12 p.m.
If you need more time, please notify me.
Please keep the house tidy, as you found it.
I thank you in advance for respecting my home and everything in it. If something doesn't work, please tell me. Please don't try to fix it yourself. Also, if you break something during your stay, it's appreciated that you let me know.

My name is Victoria and I'm a full time performing singer/songwriter and play the ukulele. My husband, Jack, and I love to cook, travel (both for fun and work).
I speak french fluently, ride a bicycle, drink coffee, buy local, recycle, compost, drink wine, eat great food and listen to and play music ;)
As a guest: I'm clean, a non-smoker, I like a good chat, and I might sing in the shower... :) Occasionally, Jack travels with me.
