This apartment is rented out 100% to tenants and I do not reside in the unit.
If you are coming to San Francisco to experience all the food, music and culture- this is the right home base for you. Grab a Blue Bottle coffee in the morning, check out the Asian Art Museum during the day. Grab some lunch at one of the many outdoor cafes then an early dinner at Nojo before hearing live music at the SF Jazz Center
Super easy to get around SF from the apartment. Either by walking, bus, muni or BART. All nearby.
This is a no smoking apartment with pets only allowed with prior approval and additional pet deposit. This is 2 unit building with tenants residing in the unit above.
The stay was great. The apt is super comfortable, nice bed, nice sofa, fully equipped kitchen and great bathroom... The area is really nice with cool bars and places to eat... Everything was great!
It's the perfect spot in the lovely Hayes Valley neighborhood! Lots of restaurants, shopping and Blue Bottle coffee!
Anjal was very prompt with answering all my questions. The place is big for a SF apartment, clean and cosy! The fireplace was great on cooler nights. Overall, it was one of my best experiences staying in SF, better than a hotel!
Place is really cute - fireplace adds a lot of charm, plus padding on the bed makes it really comfortable. Love Hayes Valley - can't beat the location!
This is apartment wonderful in a great area and just as described.
Anjal was very responsive and made it very welcoming. I would surely go again!
The location is very good, not far from interesting places, great restaurants and in a safe & quiet neighborhood.
However, my first surprise was not being abble to get access to the internet, even with the code written in the welcome book. I had to go ask the neighbors who were very helpful and gave me their wifi access. But I don't think it is normal that I had to ask the neighbors and I didn't feel comfortable asking them.
A welcome from the owner with a little showing of the appartment would have been great.
Second surprise was the TV not working but it was apparently related to the wifi problem.
After a couple of emails, the owner came with her husband to fix it, but after more than an hour it turned out that the problem was more difficult then expected and they wanted to come back with a technician.
I declined as I did not want to wast another morning of my vacation.
The hot tub wasn't working, yellow/brown water was coming out. After checking on it, Anjal mention it was due to the pipes but could still be used. Who wants to take a bath in yellow/brown water ???
It also needs new frying pans! Some are Black and roasted !
I hate complaining but I am paying for amenities which were not delivered.
It seems like nobody checked the appartment prior my arrival.
The Apartment could be perfect if everything was working correctly.
Great location but the price is not worth the quality !
I will personally look for another appartment next time I stay in San Francisco.
Thank you Isabelle for you feedback. Everything is now working properly, but it was unfortunate that it all had to occur during your stay. It is often impossible to predict these issues when previous tenants have everything working fine. Also, with most old buildings in San Francisco and the poor deigns of the pipes; sediment will often sit in the pipes until they are pushed out with frequent use. I have updated my housekeeping policy to include running the bath water during cleanings.

I am one of the rare San Francisco native's that hasn't left! I work as a nurse and live and work here in SF with my husband and our two children. We love our city and all that it offers our visitors- especially the unforgettable bars, restaurants and coffee! I think we embody the multi-culturalism that makes San Francisco great; my personal artwork is displayed in the apartment, I belong to a local Hawaiian cultural group and have been dancing hula for over 15 years and my partner plays acoustic guitar in a local band. Being natives we strive to share what keeps SF great while advocating for the changes happening to our city be done respectfully and thoughtfully.
