With huge detached artists studio that can be used for work or sleep!!! Very serene and peaceful setting with a huge backyard filled with fruit trees. Also has a two car garage. Walking distance to Sunset Junction. The house is completely furnished by West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Z Gallerie, mid-century finds, luxurious Calvin Klein sheets, Ralph Lauren towels, appliances...everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Interaction with Guests
We can be available as much or as little as you would like as we live in the neighborhood. The house is equipped with a digital keypad so you can check-in and check-out at your leisure. If there are ever any problems, we are only a phone call or email away.

Great coffee and lunch spots - Intelligensia, LaMill, Silver Lake Wine Tasting, Cafe Stella and Berlin Curry Wurst to name a few... Other Things to Note
***As fellow house renters, we realize the importance of a good nights sleep. All our rooms have new beds with high-thread count sheets and blackout shades. We use bedbug protective covers on all our mattresses so that you and I can sleep safely.***
Please note that the security deposit is $500 for short-term stays. For stays longer than one month, we require a $1000 deposit.
QUIET ENJOYMENT: Guest shall be entitled to quiet enjoyment of the premises, and Owner will not interfere with that right. Guest also agrees to respect neighbors and will not cause disruption of neighbors.
NUMBER IN PARTY: Number of people staying on Premises must be indicated and confirmed on contract and not exceed maximum number of people allowed as indicated in the contract. Evidence that the number of people staying on the Premises exceeds number indicated on the contract may result in forfeiture of entire security deposit.
PARTIES: Gatherings, including guests, which exceeding maximum number of people staying in our home must be pre-approved and noted in our contract. The property is located in a residential neighborhood and care should be taken and polite consideration given to neighbors so that their peace is not unduly imposed upon or disturbed. Guest is responsible for all visitors in this regard, whether occupying the property or “dropping by” for a short visit. Evidence that parties have been conducted without pre-approval will result in a forfeiture of entire security deposit.
FILMING: Absolutely no filming or large crews in the house for security and safety reasons.
NO SMOKING POLICY: No smoking of cigarettes or cigars is allowed on the property. Evidence of smoking on the property will result in a forfeiture of entire security deposit.
DANGEROUS MATERIALS: Guest shall not keep or have on or around the Premises any item of a dangerous, flammable or explosive character that might unreasonably increase the risk of fire or explosion on or around the premises or that might be considered hazardous by any responsible insurance company.
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house.
PETS: Guest is NOT allowed a pet on the premise.
WATER AND GARBAGE – We ask you to please use water minimally due to California drought issues.
There is one Black trash bin and one Blue recycling bin by the garage. Please try to dispose your waste accordingly.
ELECTRICITY, A/C, AND HEAT -- We ask that you please remember to turn off all lights when not using them, and use electricity, A/C, and heat on an as-needed basis.
This house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
LIABILITY WAIVER: Guest, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable California law, hereby waives and releases any claim that Guest now or later might have against Owner and Owner’s employees and agents, regarding the construction, design, maintenance, repair, or condition of the premises negligent conduct of Guest, Guest’s employees or agents, or any activities that take place thereon or therein. Without limiting the foregoing, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable California law, Guest hereby assumes the risk of harm to Guest, Guest’s personal property, and Guest’s agents and invitees in whole or part arising from or related to any of the foregoing causes.

Great and airy house with fantastic views and a perfect location for shopping, dining, coffee drinking and tours around LA. Very close to Dodgers' Stadium and Universal Studios. Our kids were happy playing soccer in the front yard and long boarding on the quiet street, and we were thrilled with the patio. Thanks for a great stay, we'll be sure to stay at your house next time we visit our family in LA.
We had a lovely stay at Casa Silver Lake. The house was spacious and stylishly presented and has everything you need to call LA home during your holiday. The location was really convenient to lots of LA attractions and had some fab coffee shops nearby. Sophia was super easy and quick to communicate with and we had no issues during our stay. Enjoy!
