Interaction with Guests

Very quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Practically 5 minutes away from most important places like Gulfport and the Beaches, the mall at Tyrone, restaurants, Galleries and Museums. The Pinellas Trail is just 4 blocks from the apartment so, if you like to bike or run or just walk, this is perfect for you!
There is public transportation close by but not so frequent so the best way to move around is by car.
Other Things to Note
We love animals and we have a little Rat Terrier, her name is Lola. She is just a puppy and is very active and friendly. She doesn't bark so don't worry about noise. Please, see house rules for details about your dog.
Please no smoking inside the apartment or parties. No more than 4 guests in the apartment. We accept guests who want to bring a small dog (up to 25 pounds) but he-she has to be house trained please. No dogs allowed on the beds. Also, we charge a fee of $25.00 non refundable, for the dog (one time only).
Pilar's place was absolutely lovely. When we arrived she was there to let us in and show us around. The apartment was adorable, clean and perfect for our three night stay. Pilar even gave us a recommendation for a nearby place to get breakfast. We would definitely stay with Pilar again!
Nice accomodation in central location of Saint Petersburg. Pillar was very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was very clean and well equipped (also coffee and tea as first starter were offered). We only stay there for two nights - but we would have stayed longer, if our travel plans had allowed this. The garden looks also nice and guests could have a great time there.
My friends and I had a wonderful time while staying at Pilar's residence. She had great suggestions for good restaurants and was very respectful of our space. She even provided beach chairs for us to use! I highly recommend this location- it was quiet, private, and very cozy.
The place is perfect to stay. Quiet and cozy.
Once we arrived there, Pilar was very kind and she showed us very carefully the apartment. It is small, but clean, tidy, very good arranged and cozy. The place is behind to the main house where is a huge yard with a lot of plants, and also they have a couple of hammocks. The kitchen and dining table has enough size to enjoy a breakfast or dinner for 4.
The neighborhood is so quiet and has a good location, easy to get to any place in the city.
Price -quality, 100% recommended!
We had a wonderful time here! Pilar and her husband were very welcoming, the apartment and the big yard were great. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the location is very central so it was easy to get to the beaches, restaurants, St. Petersburg and Tampa. Pilar recommended that we go to Gulfport to shop and have dinner and it was the perfect place for that. We would definitely stay here again!

About the Host, Pilar
Hi there! My name is Pilar, I am an artist and painter. I work locally as a real estate agent. I am originally from Ecuador and I love to visit new places and meet people. I have lived in different countries: Ecuador, USA (Cambridge,MD and Orlando) ,Mexico D.F., and Italy. When I first came to Saint Petersburg, I just fell in love with the city. The old houses, big old oak trees with Spanish moss, the beaches, Gulfport and the little restaurants and art shows, farmer markets and that Key West- like charm. Everybody is so relaxed and friendly!!! I had to move here!!! So, I found this cute little and very old house (1924) with a huge Oak in the front!! and have spent this last year remodeling it. My husband Terry and I live in the front house and the 2 apartments are in the back. We love to sail in Terry's boat and we would be so happy to have you as our guests!! :)
Beautiful Gulfport, a relaxed eclectic art community with a great little Key West feel. Great restaurants and night life.
Grand Central ave district is a great place for hip restaurants bars and shops. Several festivals happen here.
