This master bedroom is a place you'll never want to leave. The light floods in all afternoon. The adjoining deck looks to the southwest offering views of Charlottesville's stunning sunsets. The master bathroom is en suite. The window is screened by two beautiful ferns.
If you're in the mood for a bath, there is a claw-foot tub next door.

The house is inhabited by writers and a landscape architect-in-training.
And one pup who may or may not be home.
The house is located 7-10 minutes from the Downtown mall and less than one mile from UVa's Grounds. A Free Trolley and Bus stop are a couple of blocks away along with numerous local restaurants, a yoga studio, live music venue (out of earshot) and beautiful women's clothing boutique. The Farmer's Market is a wonderful place to visit on Saturdays from April through November.

This was a lovely surprise. Came down from D.C. to see a concert at the Jefferson Theater and needed a nice place to stay at the last minute. This was it, and more! The room was beautiful, with thoughtful adornments and lots of space. Spa-like bathroom. All-in-all, wonderful; I recommend it highly.
Meg's home was a fantastic base for a quick weekend trip to Charlottesville! Everything was as promised, the room is even lovelier in person, and Meg was friendly and responsive. We felt right at home and would not hesitate to return if we're ever back in Cville.
Meg has a beautiful house close to the train station and the downtown pedestrian mall. She was very accommodating to my schedule and made me feel right at home.
The room was wonderful, very well decorated. The neighborhood was so close to the downtown mall we never used our rental car. I also enjoyed the neighborly hellos we would get walking through the neighborhood. And of course Meg was great.
