Cozy 400 sqft cabin! Hot tub! Kitchenette w/ mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, french press coffee maker, hot plate. Bathroom w/ shower. Twin day bed w/ twin trundle. Bedroom w/ queen bed. Semi forest surrounding. Firepit & mini propane BBQ. Views of city & lake from viewing site (1 min walk away). Adjacent to crown land, w/ walking & bike trails. Scenic 15 min drive up the hill from town; 20 mins to Skaha Lake. 5 mins to Penticton Speedway. One of three cabins; check our other listings!
The space
This is 1 of 3 cabins on a mountainside acreage in beautiful Penticton. Take a 2 min walk down our driveway to our 'Viewing Site' and enjoy the expansive view of the city and lake during the day, and the amazing sunsets at night. Or walk down our driveway the opposite direction and take a stroll around our campground.
At approx 3000 feet elevation, we are about 4-5 degrees cooler than down in Penticton, and usually have a refreshing breeze in the evenings.
You may see deer eating the grass in the early mornings, or get a friendly visit from our cats :)
When there is no fire ban, our 2 sons chop and bundle firewood to sell. Let us know if you would like any firewood during your stay.
The hot tub for cabin 2 is behind the cabins; it is NOT shared with the other cabins.
From mid-June to mid-September, the cabin will have 2 window AC units to help keep cool in the summer :)
Other things to note
We HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance during the summer months due to potential smoke/fires. Travel insurance can be purchased during checkout.
We are on septic, so any feminine hygiene products must be thrown in the garbage; please dont flush anything down the toilet.
Baseboard heaters are used to heat the cabin; if the heat is turned on, keep baseboard heaters clear.
Sound travels really far up here, so please keep your voices down to allow all guests to have a peaceful and relaxing experience.
