Luqa is the typical Maltese village. At the village centre there is the Church. The oldest streets and buildings lead to it. On the outskirst one finds new buildings, some countryside and old chapels. The patron saint of Luqa is St. Andrew. Luqa is very close to the airport. This proximity was the main reason why Luqa suffered a lot during World War II. In fact in Luqa one finds war shelters. Today the shelters are used to home exhibitions held during the Christmas and the Easter period.

The space
This bedroom is one of three bedrooms in my townhouse. You are booking this bedroom which is private with own door and with lock on the door. This bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. The room is ideal for travellers who are in Malta for trip either for work or leisure.

My townhouse is very close to the airport. This makes it ideal either as a first night in Malta after a late arrival, or as the last night before an early departure. The airport is at a walking distance of 20 minutes, only two bus stops away! However my place is also ideal as a base for longer for exploring Malta and Gozo.

The house is on ground floor. There are no stairs. The house consists of an entrance hall and a hall way that leads to three bedrooms all with ensuite. The kitchen enables guests to prepare a quick meal.

Hal Luqa, Malta

The neighbourhood is very quiet. The place is close to the core of the village so all amenities are at a stone's throw away! Convenience shops, ATM and banks are at walking distance from my place. The bus stop is a couple of minutes away. The bus stop connects Luqa to nighbouring villages: Żurrieq, Qrendi, Paola, Qormi and to the rest of the island.
