Cabins are rustic, without heating, cooling or insulation. Toilets, showers & kitchen are centrally located and shared. Camp Kush is located in the Great Sage Plain in the shadow of Mesa Verde National Park with panoramic mountain/mesa views of the Four Corners region, all only 5 miles Southeast of Cortez.
We have private couple’s or family cabins, shared hostel-style cabins with bunk beds, tent and vehicle sites, a community kitchen, pit toilets and hot showers.

The space
Camp Kush is a reclaimed children’s church camp (Camp Christa). Each summer churches from all over the southwest would bring kids for week-long camps. It used to house up to 100 kids at a time! We bought it in April 2018 and reopened it as cannabis friendly campground, hostel & event center for grown-ups to enjoy.
We are cannabis friendly & inclusive! Cool folks of any ethnic background, national origin or religion as well as hippies, hunters, freaks and queers are all welcome here!
