Interaction with Guests
i like to do my thing, which includes staying out of your hair so long as you're not smoking in the house. Im American.. not Egyptian
The view from this 9th floor flat overlooks a well kept garden area. There's a 24 hour gym under the next building that allows 1 day free access and a few blocks away, there's a famous bakery/ice cream shop that sells the best authentic egyptian desserts around.
cabs are widely accessible and "central el maza" is 2 blocks away from the flat and has a wide variety of buses that frequently stop there
Other Things to Note
before i rent to anyone, i need to hear from you. just a brief chat via phone or sk7pe. all the rooms and dining areas are western style hardwood flooring which is much more susceptible to damage than the typical vinyl & marble flooring, because of this, there's a pricey ($150) security deposit mainly to discourage the riff raff, the miscreants, and any lazy smokers from lighting one up in this precious room, instead of taking it to the balcony ;)
like me, a respectable human being with common sense :)))
Tamir is a very welcoming host .. The place is spotlessly clean and as described and shown in photos .. The area where the flat is is just in the middle of everything and in a wonderful neighbourhood .. I would highly recommend staying there and would surely consider it as a first choice if I'm back in Cairo again ..
