We loved Kiva! It was perfect for a getaway to the ski mountain and surrounding attractions. Kate and Josh were very responsive and helpful with places to go and things to do. The house had a great hot tub and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend!
The Kiva was a beautiful place to stay. We did encounter a few problems though. The hot water heater was not working so showering was a problem until the plumber came to fix it. The shower curtain was old and moldy making me feel uncomfortable. The pictures showed a hot tube in the yard and we were surprised when we got there to see that it is no longer is there. We should have been notified of that. Location was good.
So sorry about the shower curtain. We've alerted the Caretakers to make sure this doesn't happen again. The hot tub still exists, however, and is reached through the gate to the right in the rear courtyard. Next time please don't hesitate to call us or our Caretakers so we can help with such matters immediately.

Your charming casita is in a very accessible location to the Plaza, Library and shops along the main street. It is well decorated with local art and memorabilia. The bows and arrows are amazingly restored and almost ready for the next hunting trip. The bed was comfy and the neighborhood quiet.
Thanks Kate and Josh for all your help during our stay.
The KIVA Casita was a very nice get away from home. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was nice to have a tea pot ready to roll on the gas stove. Clean and quiet. My mom and I enjoyed afternoons and evenings in the back yard. We were walking distance from the plaza as well as a wine tasting room. There is a major grocery store just a couple of blocks away. We ended up in the wrong casita the first night...opps. Mix up on both our ends but Josh worked it all out for both parties. I highly recommend the KIVA for a Taos vacation.
It was a really beautiful space! They have a nice girl who looks after it and she was nice enough to put the outside lights on because we arrived later in the night. We had a few requests prior and they honored them which was very sweet. A little warning though that their internet didn't really have enough juice to use our computers. We inquired about it and they have a low package that doesn't allow you to get much up and running. We couldn't get our emails but turned out to be a good thing ;) I highly recommend the space! Great location and beautiful decor! Thank you for a great time!
Host was very accommodating with the only request we had. We only had one because everything else had been so well thought out by the host.
This is a lovely little spot. It's beautifully furnished, well-maintained and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the comforter was down and cozy. Much needed since we had a snowstorm while there. I arrived in a power failure, which I didn't know. It was amusing trying to figure out the problem. I guess the whole La Lomas area was down. It came on 10 minutes after I arrived. It's a quiet neighborhood, people are friendly. And walking distance to town for sure. Enjoy your stay at the Kiva.
