We rented the apartment for our first month in Vancouver, after emigrating from Scotland, and we'd highly recommend it. Wonderful location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the seawall just five minutes walk away.
If we're being picky, the only issue we had was that the fridge had a loud humming noise which disturbed my husband's sleep. Also, the apartment had less available storage / cupboard space than we would have liked - however, this wouldn't be a problem for people staying for a shorter time.
Definitely somewhere that we will be recommending to friends and family coming over to visit us in Canada!
The condo is really very nice! It is extremely conveniently located, walking distance from Davie, Yaletown and Sunset beach. Even Stanlay park isn't that far away. The living room is very comfortable. The open kitchen has all the needed features. Parking lot was clearly a big bonus too!
Lastly, Ian's instructions were very clear and overall everything went very smoothly.
If anything, you can still hear quite a lot of the street and city noises, even from the 14th floor... But a perfect landing spot otherwise!
Great apartment right in the middle of Downtown Vancouver. Good instructions on gaining entry and exit and information about where to shop etc. Everything required for a good week's stay in town was made readily available by Ian.
I've never stayed in an apartment above level 3 before so i found staying on the 14th floor absolutely fascinating including watching the window cleaners abseiling down the apartments opposite.
We had an amazing stay at Ian's condo. The location was perfect for us. The furnishings were tasteful and the rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable and we loved the shower. We enjoyed being on the 14th floor and looking out over our part of the city. We could see the mountains and the waterfront. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and felt very safe. We will recommend his place to relatives and friends. We loved Vancouver. There are so many great places to eat and the seawall is incredible. Loved riding the trail lifts at Whistler, shopping on Granville Island, exploring Stanley Park, and walking to the very end of a street while enjoying the neighborhoods along the way.
It was my first time using Airbnb and it was a very positive first experience. My boyfriend and I stayed at Ian's apartment for five nights. The apartment was just as described - clean, comfortable bed, and thank goodness for all the fans in the apartment because it got very hot during the day and at night. The location was great - we practically had our car parked in the garage the whole time because everything was within walking distance. Ian was quick to respond to texts and phone calls. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and would consider staying here again in the future.

Wonderful apartment in downtown Vancouver! The place was really conveniently located, major sightseeing attractions were within walking distance, otherwise it was really easy to catch the public transit. The apartment was also really close to restaurants and shopping. Just an unbeatable location. The apartment was really clean, cosy and nicely decorated. Just as shown in the pictures.
Ian was also a great host, easy and fast communication. He let us to get the keys 2 days in advance without extra charge and he was really accomodating with our late check-out time. Would definitely recommend!
Had a great 2 week stay in Ian's apartment. It was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. The apartment is excellently located a short walk to Yaletown, Downtown and Granville Island, it is also close to many bus routes and to the SkyTrain. Ian was a pleasure to deal with and always quick communicating and answering any queries. Would definitely recommend.
Colleen and Ian's apartment was absolutely perfect for my family's two month stay in Vancouver. Ian was very helpful with everything and his apartment is nice and cosy (especially during the cold winter months). The pictures don't do justice to the tasteful furnishings and interiors. The apartment has quite a few artistic touches throughout and will serve as a great base for people looking to explore Vancouver.
From the time we entered the apartment to the time we left it, there were no complaints. For me, this was our first AirBnB experience and we couldn't have had a more positive one.
On the technical side of things,
* the apartment is centrally located and v.close to all shopping and restaurants. Ian's apartment had a binder with tips on where to eat and what to do.
* The apartment has lots of glass windows - one gets amazing views on sunny days.
*The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are all v.tidy and warm.
*The apartment building is nice and other residents seemed polite and friendly.
I'd recommend that anybody visiting Vancouver should seriously consider staying at this apartment, because it beats staying in any hotel room in the city (especially for longer stays).
