Herzlichen Dank!!
Stephen's house is a lovely contemporary, bright and spacious place. It was easy to find, and very close to Bantry town, about 10 minutes walk. Mary, the housekeeper welcomed us and was very friendly and helpful with information about the town and local area. We stayed with our 1 year old and a cot and high chair were available. It is a great base for exploring not just West Cork but also Kenmare and Kerry. Next time we are in the area, hopefully we can come and stay again.
Stephen's place was perfect. The house is so lovely and open plan, very bright and so much room in the kitchen/living room. I travelled with my parents and my two brothers and we unanimously loved the house. Bedrooms were big and beds were very comfy. We spent a lot of time in Bantry so the location was ideal. Hopefully we'll come back in summer time and make use of the lovely big terrace. Mary was also very helpful, on hand for whenever we needed her. Thanks again to the both of you.
Arriving at Stephen's and discovering his lovely home after our trip was most comforting. Lovely welcoming house that just makes you feel straight at home.
Well kept, well equiped and also very soothing.
No need to look further for my next stay in Ireland, I truly hope to come back at your place.
The house was beautifully presented, with everything we could possibly need at hand. A very well equipped kitchen, interesting books, comfy beds, TV ... It is a really lovely house - and much more spacious than we anticipated. As we had bad weather - we did light the fire twice which was lovely - but as I had my teenage sons with us I would have felt happier leaving them with the fire with a spark guard! That was the only slight concern on my part! Many thanks Stephen - I hope we get a chance to stay again!
About the Host, Stephen
Now based in London, I lived in 3 Ard Na Gleanna for 3 years whilst working in the Bantry area. A frequent visitor to the area with many familyand friends still based locally, I hope our guests will enjoy 3 Ard Na Gleanna as much as I did!
